So Friday I went to my morning Circuit Spin class as usual... and Michelle (aka the "she devil") had a whole new torture plan mapped out. In the circuit spin, we bike for 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes of strength exercise and we do that circuit 3 times. The strength this week was crunches and planks using a balance ball. Using the ball targets a different angle than doing crunches or planks on the floor. I was a little sore on Saturday but this morning I really felt it when I was getting out of bed. I would say she definately found some new muscles to challenge!
By the way, earlier this year I mentioned that one of my goals was to be able to do 100 push-ups by the end of the year. I started out being able to do four. Thought I would give you an update... I'm up to 14 (barely) so making some progress. The sad news however is I still haven't lost a pound... arrrgghh! Since I'm not willing to give up my nightly Healthy Choice ice cream bar I may be stuck.
