A lot has happened since I last posted. My beloved Lily died 1/15/13. There is a new boy in the family now, Alex. I have been going to boot camp faithfully since 8/6/12 3 x week. I am holding my weight and stay off the scale most times as it is slow to move, but the measurements are getting smaller. Just want to say to everyone, keep on it feels a lot better than how it used to be!

Continuing ON

I am still going, still living the lifestyle Spark! At work people say oh you are so good and I say there is no good or bad...it's a lifestyle. Slow and steady I go. The inches are changing even though the scale is not or is so slow you can't tell! A friend I hadn't seen in quite a few months commented how great I looked and that I seemed peaceful. Ha Ha, it's all the positive thought I have been doing. Endurance is so much better, blood pressure controlled...and continuing on I go! emoticon emoticon emoticon

find foods that work with your chemistry. i created this meal on my own. i can't seem to loose weight if i eat any grain products. so one day i experimented.

i make this mixture for breakfast , lunch and dinner. i have lost 32 pounds in 23 weeks. i cook

4 large portabella mushrooms sliced, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, 4 large onions sliced, 2 large green peppers, 3 cans green beans, 1 can rutabaga and 5 sliced chicken sausages.

it makes enough for at least 4 days, three meals a day. total cost is 12 dollars. i buy the mushrooms and chicken at sams club. sounds crazy but it taste good and most importantly it's working. i'm not hungry . if i feel the urge to cheat i go get a fork full of my mixture. i chew very slowly as to enjoy my meal.

i have added a small banana and grapes for my snacks and to be a fix for my sweet tooth.

you can add other foods into your menu. just know what works with your body chemistry.

I have gone from 198 to 166 pounds. i can now fit into a size 14 comfortably. i feel so much better. think of carrying a 2 year old around your waist every minute of every day. no i am not done. on the obese chart i have gone from being obese to just plain fat. my goal is to drop another 22 pounds. then i will be happy, healthy and never allow myself to get in this condition again.

one might say eating the same food every day would get boring. not true. when you look in the mirror and can see the difference it's worth

New Exercise Shoes

Yay!!! New exercise shoes because the other ones have been used so much they are worn out!! Who would have thought that would happen!!! Continuing on!

Well I just realized I had a spring goal of my 30 mile bike ride,which I did, but summer is over and I had no summer goals....so as we go into fall I will think about this. I continue to keep going and work on not letting the scale rule me. I am changing my shape and my mind needs to follow!!! emoticon emoticon

Time Off

Finally some time off, don't go back to work until next Wednesday. I have done errands, have been doing awesome with the exercise and am back logging my intake. I feel so good, I am just staying off the scale. I can feel the changes in the way my clothes fit and I have more bounce to my steps. Happy day and happy days off. I am doing some late spring cleaning and organizing. I cleaned my whole closet and got rid of the larger/looser baggy clothes. Just having a clean closet is so relaxing. I can't believe how it makes me feel when I get into bed and even though the closet door is shut, it is a peaceful feeling to know it is organized and clean!!! Woo Hoo!
