DO IT ANYWAY

COMMITTED MEANS DO IT ANYWAY.

Focus on your action, not just your feelings.

Each day take a few steps that move you forward even if you don't feel like it.

Boy I need to catch on fire with this. I am good at starting something but sticking with it can be a problem. Working on it.

Since it helps to see my goals laid out. I've went back and borrowed from some old post.






1. Eat 2 -3 fruits daily. emoticon


2. Eat 3-5 veggies daily. emoticon



3. Strength training 1-2 time a week. emoticon


4. Aerobics 2-3 times a week. emoticon emoticon


5. Eat Oatmeal or a whole grain with breakfast. emoticon


6. Daily care/facials pedicures. emoticonYes I am a girly girl. Besides I have to fight harder I'll be turning 51 in September. This includes weight training Sorry but I don't like it.Yes I know the benefits yada, yada, yada. I enjoy pilates more!!!



7. Journal weekly this pertains to emotional eating. It helps to write about what is going or not going write in life. I found out the hard way bottling things up inside does not go well for me. But, tact can be a factor. What you say can crush or uplift a person. The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity:so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature and it is set on fire of hell. James 3:6. sometimes I have take a breath and step back and pray..... I use to eat when I was angry but that I do not do any more. I found aerobics visualization helps. walking etc. Right now I am dealing with some hormonal issues and find myself being overly emotional a little. NOW Wait all those who know me know I am not a down trodden person. Believe me I am praying myself thur. I know what God says I am and I know whose I am. I haven't gotton anything twisted on that end. LOL! I have also begin to crochet again so this will be a part of some helps with stress etc.

8. Devotionals daily. emoticon emoticon


The Summer vacation will start Friday coming. So I am walking by faith with this

DAY 2

Interested or Committed?

Interested slips away quickly, Blaming other when you eat certain things, or you have a moment of weakness. yada, yada, yada Oh yes I stepped on my own toes. I've had slipped moments.

Committed is a stick with it mode no matter what. You work on staying motivated and strong knowing results will follow.

I was committed to going to bed at 11:00 pm and I did it!

The race is not given to strong but to those who endure. That sure is me. I am a work in progress. My motto is even if I have to crawl on all fours I will make it with God grace.

Have got my list for losing weight.

Change my thinking ...No those ugly voices do not have the last say. My previous failures does not have any affect on my ability to success. Those voices do NOT have the last say. I do.

CHANGING CHALLENGE.

1 weeK

Goals for the year...I may change or add to them:

1. Eat 2 -3 fruits daily. emoticon

2. Eat 3-5 veggies daily. emoticon
DID PRETTY GOOD NEEDS IMPROVING!

3.Strength training 2-3 time a week. emoticon. TO MY SHOCK I DID REAL GOOD ON THIS,

4. Aerobics 2-3 times a week. emoticon emoticonI NEED TO SO 3 TIMES AND FELL SHORT A DAY OR TWO.


5. Eat Oatmeal for breakfast a week **I tired daily but the 6 year old inside me started to rebel. Moderation please!! emoticon 3 TIMES A WEEK WENT WELL!


6. Daily care/facials pedicures. emoticonI NEED
TAKE MORE ME TIME!!! I really need to concentrate on my skin ((NO wrinkles yet)) I am 50 so I need to stay on top of it. My hair still is in its natural state....growing like crazy. I did break down and add some light brown color(in the sunlight it look slightly reddish)) high lights in my hair. washed that grays right outta my hair..well the hair tec did LOL!


7. Journal weekly this pertains to emotional eating. It helps to write about what is going or not going in. Speaking about it also helps.. sometimes I have take a breath and step back and pray..... I'VE ALREADY MADE 6 HATS AND JUST COMPLETED MY SEVENTH. NOW WORKING ON ANOTHER
ONE. AFTER THAT PROBABLY DO OTHER ITEMS.

Eating good and exercising when I was supposed to went OK this week. Personal care good, They are calling for snow next 6.gif" alt="emoticon" width="42" height="42" border="0">week. Can you believe that??? kids will go to school this Saturday.

    I always love goals that include "daily care." For me, that can easily take a back seat but is so important to just "feeling" great.

I am so happy that you remember to keep YOU in the equation.

    Sounds like some great goals and reasonable as well. I'm almost 50 (6 weeks away) so I understand. Wanted to say Diabetic meds are not a "fail".

    Sounds like a great plan! If you're looking for another breakfast, one of my faves is a whole wheat waffle with 1 tbsp each of peanut butter and honey mixed together. YUMMMMMMM!!!! Keep up the great work and you'll have that diabetes on the run!

I admit I am not big on blogging. I'd much rather journal in my personal journal. I am a chart girl cause I like to see results on paper or otherwise. I"ll check them off each day but I will only post how my week went weekly here.

Eating good and exercising when I was supposed to went this week. Personal care good but daily facials not so great. For one it snowed here last Monday and it put our small into a tail spin. Snow here is rare and when it does it turns things kinds upside down here for us. Some may laugh but that is how it is here. When it snowed most businesses was closed the only exceptions was Walmart(((they would not close unless the end of time happened.))) LOL! School has been out for a week. So that meant a 10 min shower for me. Not much pampering time. Hopefully they will go back to school Tuesday. But who knows???makeup for them will be this coming Saturday kids may not be happy with this but that's life...

    Thank you for the welcome msg on my page. I like your goals, especially about keeping a journal. I think doing it online is easier for me though. I've never been able to keep one on paper since I was a teen LOL. Good luck! emoticon

    I think it has definitely been a challenging week for all of us who've been in because of the snow. I know the north is used to it, but we sure aren't here in the south! We still have snow a full week later! I'm ready to go back to school for sure. Not sure when our guys will have to make all the days up though. Hopefully schedules will get back to normal for all of us soon. Hang in there! Great goals! emoticon

    You have some great goals there. It is always good to revamp them from time to time. I tried to keep on my goals but they change often.But at least they are all basic and simple changes.
