GOALS FOR BLC 26 GO BLUE LIONS!

MY GOALS WILL INCLUDE TOTAL BODY CARE IE--, MIND AND BODY, SOUL/SPIRIT. I STILL BELIEVE IF THEY ARE ALL IN TUNE THE WEIGHT WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF IF IT IS BALANCED OUT.

TEMPLE --DAILY BIBLE READING/DEVOTIONALS. I WAS MADE FOR MORE THAN TO BE STUCK IN A VICIOUS CYCLE OF (DEFEAT) IE EMOTIONAL EATING. Deuteronomy 2:3 SAYS “YOU HAVE CIRCLED THIS MOUNTAIN LONG ENOUGH. NOW TURN NORTH.” WHEN THERE'S A SPECIAL EVENT, I CAN FIND OTHER WAYS TO CELEBRATE RATHER THAN BLOWING MY HEALTHY EATING PLAN. REVELATION 3:8 SAYS “SEE, I HAVE PLACED BEFORE YOU AN OPENED DOOR THAT NO ONE CAN SHUT”. I HAVE THESE BOUNDARIES IN PLACE NOT FOR RESTRICTION BUT RATHER TO DEFINE THE PARAMETERS OF MY FREEDOM.

BODY---VEGGIES 4-5 DAILY I WILL INCLUDE JUICING TO HELP WITH MY VEGGIE INTAKE. TRY MORE GREEN VEGGIES TO JUICE DAILY WHEN I AM STRUGGLING TO EAT THEM. INCLUDE MORE VEGGIES IN MY DIET. TRY WITH HARNESTY NEW FREGGIES WHEN POSSIBLE. INTAKE 8-10 GLASSES OF WATER AND HAVE AT LEAST 1-2 CUPS OF GREEN TEA. INCLUDE FLAX SEED DAILY IN MY MEAL(S). INCLUDE OATMEAL DAILY OR AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK. CUT OUT REFINED CARBS AND EAT CLEANER...(THE EAT CLEANER WILL WALKED BY FAITH)( MEANING MY BEST ATTEMPT) NO SWEETS UNLESS MADE VEGAN. I WILL FOLLOW MY SOURCE FROM YOUTUBE.(MAMAROSE) THIS PART WILL BE WALKED BY FAITH!! WORK TOWARDS 25-40 GRAMS OF FIBER DAILY—FAITH WALK!! INCLUDE NUTS IE ALMONDS, WALNUTS, PECANS ETC. EXCEPT PEANUTS IN MY DIET. AVOID RED MEATS—USE WITH CAUTION MAYBE A STEAK ON OCCASION NO MORE! INCLUDE SOY AND TOFU. MONITOR MYSELF WITH TUNA, MACKEREL, SARDINES FOR OMEGA3 HELPS, CLAMS SCALLOPS AND OYSTERS. I AM ALLERGIC TO FISH SO I WILL WATCH AND MONITOR MYSELF. INCLUDE CHICKEN AND TURKEY. WHEY PROTEIN SMOOTHIES OR SHAKES. PLAN MY MEALS AND SNACKS MORE. POST ON PAPER OR SPARK. USE MY BECK DISTRACTION TECHNIQUES IF I AM NOT REALLY HUNGRY BUT WANT TO EAT. WEATHER PERMITTING I'LL HAVE 20 MINS OF SUNSHINE THIS HELPS WITH WEIGHT LOSS AND CHOLESTEROL LEVELS. I'LL HAVE TO KEEP UP WITH THE ALLERGY LEVELS DURING THE CHANGE OF SEASONS. I AM ASTHMATIC AND HAVE ALLERGIES.


EXERCISE--AT LEAST 5-6 DAYS A WEEK. MY CARDIO WILL INCLUDE SESSIONS OF HIT. I LIKE THE IDEA OF WORKING OUT HARDER BUT IN LESS TIME. BIKE 20-40 MINS. Hit DAYS WILL BE LESS THAN 40 MINUTES. 20-30 MINS AEROBICS. I HAVE ONE AEROBIC DVD THAT IS HIT INSPIRED. THE TREADMILL IS THE HARDEST FOR ME. SO I WILL BE STARTING OUT SLOWLY WITH IT CONCERNING HIT SESSIONS. I HAVE THE OPTION OF USING YOGA AND PILATES ON SUNDAYS. I REALLY HAVE TO PUSH EXERCISE ON THE WEEKENDS. THAT IS WHEN I LIKE TO RELAX. ESPECIALLY IF THE WEEK HAS BEEN STRESSFUL. USING WEIGHTS IS A STRUGGLE FOR ME. BUT I WILL PUSH MYSELF WITH THEM. I'LL USE HIT SESSION WITH THEM ON STRONG DAYS. IF I AM STRUGGLING THEN I'LL HAVE A LIGHT WEIGHT LIFT DAY. LATER IN THE CHALLENGE I'LL EXPERIMENT WITH HEAVIER WEIGHTS...WALK OF FAITH! MY ABS ARE STRONGER THAN MY ARM MUSCLES. SO ABS HITT SESSIONS ARE NO PROBLEM IN THE ABS AREAS!! I WILL CONCENTRATE ON DIFFERENT MUSCLE GROUPS 2-3 DAYS A WEEK WITH 6-8 DIFFERENT EXERCISES IN THE BEGINNING. LATER IN THE CHALLENGE I WILL TAKE IT UP TO 12-15 EXERCISES . MY MP3 PLAYER, CHEWING GUM, AND WATER BOTTLE ARE A PART OF MY WORKOUT GEAR. I BORE EASILY. I'VE PURCHASED A FEW STEP AEROBICS VIDEOS FROM OUR LOCAL THRIFT SHOP.


MIND/REST IS IMPORTANT FOR MY WELL BEING, REBUILDING AND REJUVENATION. IN BED AT 11:30 PM ON WEEK DAYS. I STRUGGLE WITH STAYING UP TOO LATE. I WILL START A BEDTIME ROUTINE.I WILL HAVE A CUP OF CHAMOMILE TEA BEFORE SLEEP TIME. IT HELPS WITH SLEEP NATURALLY. DURING TIMES OF STRESS TAKE GREEN TEA BREAKS. PATIO BREAKS WHEN WEATHER PERMITS. (NOT HOT OR COLD) I ENJOY EATING BREAKFAST WHILE WATCHING BIRDS ON OUR PATIO. I USE THIS AS A STRESS RELIEVER AS TIMES. IT WORKS WELL FOR ME TO GET AWAY FROM THINGS SOMETIMES JUST TO TAKE A BREATH HELPS TO CLEAR THE MIND. I ENJOY DOING CRAFTS TOO. SO I INTEND ON CROCHETING ITEMS. I'LL DO MY BEADING/WIRE PROJECTS. PRAYER IS A BIG PART OF MY LIFE AND I INTEND ON USING MY FAITH. FINALLY I HAVE FOUND FOR ME A CAT OR POWER NAP HELPS REJUVENATE ME. I HAVE HEARD BOTH THE PROS AND CONS ON SLEEPING DURING THE DAY BUT THIS IS MY JOURNEY AND I WILL ROCK IT MY WAY TO REACH MY GOALS. I WILL DO 5- MIN SESSION OF PILATES ON STRESSFUL DAYS. I HAVE HEARD THAT PILATES HELPS WITH ASTHMA SO I'LL PRACTICE IT!

LORD JESUS I GIVE YOU PRAISE AND HONOR ON MY JOURNEY TO A HEALTHIER ME. I KNOW IT IS YOU THAT CAUSES ME TO PROSPER AND REACH MY GOALS. I AM LEANING ON YOU AND MY TEAM FOR STRENGTH.

    hi pat love miss you on our team but glad you have settled in with your new team.good plan apart from the green tea(makes me sick)be careful eating chewing gum while working out though it can be dangerous i remember reading a spark peoples article on the dangers of chewing gum while working out last year.keep on keeping on love you are doing great.take care and keep smiling emoticon

    Pat, you are on FIRE!!!! GREAT goals - this will make you a healthy woman for SURE! On the soy and tofu - even if they're more expensive go the organic route. There's a lot of "stuff" in GMO soy that might hurt some of what you're trying to accomplish in terms of clean eating. Let me know how I can help support you. MMY PLAN IN BETWEEN ROUNDS

My plan for in between rounds is going back to the basics. Exercise. Sun do 10 minutes sessions daily I hear that it aid weight loss. Food--eat nutritious meals. Cut out junk. I Water and green tea is on going. Devotions are a part of my plan too. Still working on my goals, retooling where I need to shine. This is rough draft as I am still working and retooling. Gathering new weight routines. meals plans that works. I may be ordering The makers diet revolution...still researching it though.

WELL THE WALKING PART WAS CHALLENGING AS I CAN NOT EXERCISE OUTSIDE OR MY ALLERGIES AND ASTHMA WILL KICK IN. SO I DID WALK AWAY THE POUNDS. PUSH UPS WERE DONE AGAINST WITH WILL. I LOVE CRUNCHES AND THAT WAS THE EASIEST PART OF THE TEST. WELL I AM HERE TO GET HEALTHIER ..BLC WILL HELP TO GET TO MY WEIGHT/FITNESS GOALS.

    Can you do a mall walk? Often they are pretty much a mile around inside... Just a thought for other times. You are doing a great job! I hope that your allergies/asthma gets better soon, or is this chronic?

MY GOALS WILL INCLUDE BODY, MIND AND SOUL/SPIRIT. I STILL BELIEVE IF THEY ARE ALL IN TUNE THE WEIGHT WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF. MY VIEW!

TEMPLE TEMPLE --DAILY BIBLE READING/DEVOTIONALS START MY DAY WITH SCRIPTURE READING, STUDY AND DEVOTIONALS. GOD HAS GIVEN ME POWER OVER MY FOOD CHOICES. I'M SUPPOSED TO CONSUME FOOD. FOOD ISN'T SUPPOSED TO CONSUME ME. 11 COR 12:9-1 "BUT HE SAID TO ME, "MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, FOR MY POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS...FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG." WHEN TEMPTED, EITHER REMOVE THE TEMPTATION OR REMOVE MYSELF FROM THE TEMPTATION. 1 COR 10: 13-14,...GOD IS FAITHFUL; HE WILL NOT LET YOU BE TEMPTED BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN BEAR. BUT WHEN YOU ARE TEMPTED, HE WILL PROVIDE A WAY OUT SO THAT YOU CAN STAND UP UNDER IT. THEREFORE, MY DEAR FRIEND FLEE...."

I ONLY USED APPLES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN MY JUICING. THE OTHERS FRUITS MAY BE TOO HIGH IN SUGAR AND CAN CAUSE A HIGH BLOOD SUGAR READING. I'D RATHER EAT THE FRUIT WHOLE. TRY WITH HEARNEST NEW VEGGIES AND FRUITS WHEN POSSIBLE. INTAKE 8-10 GLASSES OF WATER DAILY. HAVE AT LAST 2 CUPS OF GREEN TEA DAILY. CUT OUT JUNK FOOD! ONLY USE ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS ON OCCASION. AVOID EXTREME HIGH CARB FOOD(IE FOODS THAT MAKE MY BLOOD SUGARS SOAR) GO MEATLESS ONE DAY A WEEK OR LONGER IF POSSIBLE.(WALKING BY FAITH) SLASH MY INTAKE OF REFINED GRAINS AND FLOURS. WORK ON REDUCING SALT INTAKE. ONLY HAVE SPECIAL GOODIES ON TRUE SPECIAL OCCASIONS. I TEND TO GO OVER ON JUNK IF I EVER START SO I WANT TO CUT W A Y BACK ON JUNK FOOD MONITOR MYSELF WHILE IF HAVING SPECIAL OCCASION TREAT. INCLUDE OATMEAL AT LEAST THREE TO FIVE DAYS A WEEK. NO EATING PAST 9:00 PM AND OR 2 HOURS BEFORE GOING TO BED. EAT AT LEAST 35 GRAMS OF FIBER AND GO FROM THERE. WORK TOWARD 45 GRAMS. PLAN MY MEALS AND SNACKS MORE. POST ON PAPER OR SPARK. USE MY BECK DISTRACTION TECHNIQUES IF I AM NOT REALLY HUNGRY BUT WANT TO EAT.



EXERCISE--AT LEAST 5-6 DAYS A WEEK. CARDIO (IE-- AEROBICS AT LEAST 30 MINS. TREADMILL 20-30 MINS. BIKE 30- 40 MINS. MY ENDURANCE HAS IMPROVED. OF COURSE I HAVE TO GAUGE MY ENERGIES WHILE WORKING OUT LONGER. WEIGHTS YES I KNOW THE BENEFITS ETC.....ST 2 TIMES A WEEK AND WORK TOWARD 3 TIMES A WEEK. USE DIFFERENT MUSCLE GROUPS AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK GO FROM THERE. DO AT LEAST 6 EXERCISING AND WORK TOWARD 8 EXERCISES. AFTER A 4 WEEK PERIOD. USE PILATES AND YOGA TO REPLACE WHEN I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT DO WEIGHTS. I AM WALKING BY FAITH WITH THIS. ALL OF MY EXERCISE IS DONE INSIDE BECAUSE OF EXTREME ALLERGIES AND ASTHMA WHICH IS WELL CONTROLLED AT PRESENT TIME AND I WANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. I HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE TO KEEP MY MP3 PLAYER,(I THINK MY MP DIED ON ME SO I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE IT!!)(SCREAM!) A STASH OF GUM(IT HELPS ME KEEP TIME AND BREATH) AND BATTERIES. WATER BOTTLE!
