Finally got going again. Sickness, wrestling, business; it all seems to get in the way to stop what I try to do for myself. Getting older, tired of sitting around waiting for everyone else to get with the program.

Weighed in at VA last week at 279lbs. Will post on my weigh-in page.
Completed 25minutes of circuit training on the Kinect today. And a short "run" through NY City before that. Feel good. Still a little sick, but onward and "downward"!

Well, I am down for the count for now! Gonna get well ASAP from this cold or flu whatever it is. So that I can rejoin my group and stick to my goals.

Well! I just got my spaghetti legs for the first time! Joined the workout group which is a group of women who are silly and very much fun to be with. I will definitely be sore tomorrow. If you watch the exercises, they are very simple, but for someone like me who has not done very much in the last ten years, those exercises are hard.

So now, I thank God for my life, and these women who He has placed in my life. I already like them very much. have a wonderful and blessed day, and never ever give up!

I was shocked to see my nutrition report. Not enough fats, or proteins, carbs, or calories for the day, but my cholesterol was vey high. Changed my breakfast to one poached egg on a plain slice of white toast and cholesterol went down to 238 for the day.
I won't give up. But since most of my nutrients are lacking, I will start to take a multivitamin until I get all this in balance.

I have had a couple of encouraging posts and I thank you for them. Be blessed and have a wonderful day.

    emoticon on taking a multivitamin. I take one too but due to health issues my nutrient report is always lacking. But I do the best I can each day...and that's all I can do. My cholesterol is probably one I am always consistent with...limited carbs, limited protein, limited fats, no gluten (due to Celiac disease, disbetes, CKD) But I am healthier and stronger with each day that goes by...thanks to God and SP!

Made it through today. Tried a new recipe for Beef Stroganoff in the Spark Recipes. Liked it very much. Checked out my charts and have some adjustments to make with cholesterol being high, folic acid and protein low. Everythign else was great. Only one egg for breakfast? Where did all the cholesterol come from?

Anyway. The fam is not all that supportive, but I know that God is on my side and I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.
