Happy Monday, sparkers!
It's lunch time, and I'm glad for the break! This morning, at work, has been super busy! This afternoon should be more of the same.
This morning, I woke up early and threw a pork shoulder in the crock pot with some bbq sauce and sliced onions. By the time that I get home this evening, it should be ready for pulled pork sandwiches!
After dinner, I am planning on tidying the house a bit before going grocery shopping. A block away from the grocery store is our gym, so once we are done grocery shopping we are going to work out. It's most likely going to be a late gym session, but it's necessary!
This morning I weighed in at 250.8 lbs. That's a 3.8 lb loss since last week at this time! I set a goal to get down to 245 lbs by the end of the month and I am well on my way!

Goals for October:
End of Month Goal Weight: 245 lbs
End of Month Total Gym Visits: 12 visits
My husband and I want to start utilizing the gym more -- especially since the weather is going to start getting more and more cold. I figure that since I set a goal of 12 gym visits this month, this would motivate me to get in there more!
I also want to be down to 245 lbs by the end of the month. When I got back from my cruise five days ago, I weighed 254 lbs. That means that I have 9 lbs to lose by the end of the month. If I'm in the gym as much as I want to be this month, I believe that it is quite possible to meet that weightloss goal for this month!

I'm back home from vacation!
We had such an amazing time while we were on vacation, but it is always so great to be home after a while away. I am happy to be back in to "the routine". Wake up, go to work, think about what we will do that night, get out of work, cook dinner, eat dinner, relax, go to the gym, then go to bed. I am perfectly content with the normal routine after all of the excitement we had last week! We went to Catalina Island; Ensenada, Mexico; Los Angeles, CA, and; Hollywood!
I gained a few pounds from all of the food that we ate on the ship, but I don't mind the extra pounds. I will lose them soon enough!
Today was my first day back on track after a couple weeks of horrible eating and over a month of barely any exercise. Today, I woke up excited! I was excited to start working toward my goals again! I was excited to start putting ME first, again! Everything else just seems to fall in to place whenever I first take care of myself. I'm generally happy and enjoy the little things more when I am working toward my goals. I ditch the pessimistic outlook and gain optimism when I'm working toward a better me. Everything just gets... better! So, I'm excited and happy to say that I'M BACK!

Last year, at this time, I was getting ready for my wedding. Tomorrow, my husband and I will be celerbating our one year wedding anniversary. On Monday, we will be flying to Los Angeles, and leaving on our cruise. We will return home next Saturday. This week we will be celebrating our friendship and love. We are on cloud nine!
Last year, at this time, I weighed 245 lbs. I am now only five pounds heavier than that. This wasn't always the case. Within this year, I had ballooned up to 260 lbs. I gained 15 pounds after getting married, and thanks to Sparkpeople I was able to lose 10 pounds of that before my cruise. I didn't lose the entire 15 lbs, but a measly 5 pound gain in one year is not bad considering my track record! I am proud, and my husband is proud of me as well. He is so supportive, and we intend to lose our vacation weight as soon as possible when we return!
Until then... bon voyage! I'm on an official sparkbreak!
