I am just one person

Tuesday, October 12, 2010

It truly incredible that I have any hair left. I am feeling somewhat depressed today and couldn't figure out why until now. I am a "beck and call" I work 9 hours a day plus driving time. I have every other Friday off so that I am able to take my elderly invalid mom to her dr's appts. I also have to take my daughter and her small children to thier appts on that day as she has no car and public transportation here is pretty much non- existent. If I go somewhere away from home I inevitably get a phone call from one or the other that they need or want something. I actually look forward to time camping and such since there is no phones..rofl again. I love my job and work hard at it...but it can be very, very demanding. I get home from work and all I want to do is turn the phone off and relax. But there is dinner to fix, errands to run, housework etc.
I am only one person and I am feeling seriously defeated right now. I don't like it one bit and I want to get back to being fierce!!! ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!
That's just the tip of the iceberg and I need to just breathe I guess.
I am just one person and I need some serious "me" time..for about a week!

Aww, don't run yourself into the ground! Maybe you can relax in the car with some good music and just rock out instead of worrying about gunning it home to be the cleaning cooking make everything work fairy? Don't let smelly old you know who get to you! emoticon emoticon HIYA! GET AWAY!

Wow, that was a little loud. But it's true. I know I am not the first, nor will I be the last to say those words. Truth be told, it isn't always true for me. It really just depends on what article of clothing I am looking for.
The Bane of my existence is shopping for pants, slacks, whatever. I am short 5'2" and round in the middle. I carry all my weight in my belly. SO..pants that fit my waist, dont fit my legs or butt. Or they are too long in the crotch or whatever. I hate wearing pants with elastic in them. (oh yeah, the fat people wear elastic stigma). I have such a hard time finding slacks and dress pants for work that fit me where it counts.
I went shopping today at Kohls (my favorite store) and couldn't find one stinkin pair of pants that would fit right. If they fit my belly, they hang in the mid hip area.
I want to just kick something..
I want soooo bad to lose this weight and be able to wear pants that look decent again.
I want a waistline.

emoticonyou sound like my friend CHEWKEY1942 (Nancy) but she is having a better time finding clothes now that she has lost weight. Still has a hard time with the crotch being to long. The mid rise style fit her better. I'm only 5'3" but my problem is I am long waisted but I am pretty happy with myself at this time of my life. Made my goal weight on my birthday on June 21st this year.

Hang in there you can do this,

Ugh, I feel your pain. I don't have much of a butt at all and don't carry much weight in my thighs, so pants NEVER fit right. The only jeans I can find that fit are the plus size Old Navy 'the flirt' ones. I'm in a size 18 and they're the only jeans I found that have a little room in the waistband and not 10 acres of material in the butt. Just because we're big doesn't mean all women have a behind the size of Montana!

I know the feeling. I'm only 5' 1" and have had troubles all my life. I've lost the weight and now I have bought my pants ing he boys section. I'm getting ready to go to the girls section. I hate to keep trying on clothes and never finding anything that fits right. Keep following the SP plans and you will lose the weight and then maybe you will enjoy shopping. GOOD LUCK!

We have to just keep doing what we are doing and one day we may actually be able to say we sort of, kind of, maybe like clothes shopping!!!
keep going

Oh my, oh my. Being fierce is working. Slow and steady wins the race? Whatever! I will take the 13 lbs I have lost and accept that loss with grace and gratitude. ( and joy and laughter and jumping up and down!)
Life is good

Stay Fierce! emoticon

Happy "Beeba" (translated Beeba = grammy)

Monday, September 27, 2010

My newest grand daughter was born on the 19th at 1;38 a.m. She is so beautiful and my daughter did such a great job. Heck, she only had to push for 8 minutes. Holy cow! One more little reason to lose this weight and keep it off. Her big brother (who is gonna be three on Halloween) calls me Beeba. Not grammy or nana or anything else. I am Beeba. He told me I am his sweet heart. rofl. And he also said that his new baby sissy is his sweet heart, so I guess I rank right there with the best.
Staying fierce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dang, life is so very, very good!
OH.....and I am down to 221.8...oh yeah emoticon

The crazy life.

So, my daughters baby is due anytime and we have made two trips to the hospital so far as false alarms. Hehehe. Would'nt be so bad 'cept for the waiting there and being hungry cuz it's dinnertime or whatever and all there is is vending machine food. Ewwwww. Oh, and let's not forget the lack of sleep and trying to work too. Gonna try to stock my car with something healthy that will keep. And will be going thru this again next month with my daughter-in-law. ROFL. Life is good. Gotta stay FIERCE!!!!!!
