I have an actual LIVE interview tomorrow with Pioneer! I'm really excited, but also very nervous. I've only had phone interviews thus far in my 'real jobs' search, and I've completely blown every single one. I'm not very good with phone interviews, and I'm especially bad with those darn behavioral questions. I have a hard time thinking on the spot and need to prepare for any and all questions beforehand, which is very daunting.
To prepare for any and all questions that might arise, I went to the public library yesterday and checked out 3 books about interviewing, as well as answers to the toughest interview questions. Also, a friend of mine had potential interview questions that Pioneer actually uses! So, I will go over those tonight with my fiance and make sure I sound confident and positive.
I've also made 'Data input worksheets' that go over every detail of my past experiences: jobs, volunteer work, education, activities, and honors. It was suggested by one of the library books to do this and it has really helped! I don't have as much trouble thinking about past experiences for example interview questions, now that I have gone through my past and written them out.
I also gave my kitties flea baths today - they have fleas, btw. UGH! What a pain in the butt!
My cats, like most, hate baths. We have been applying the front line for 2 months now, but I keep finding fleas when I use the special flea comb. So, we bought special shampoo and I finally used it today. Good thing I read the bottle because apparently it can be corrosive to human skin - wtf? Also, it needs to stay on the cats for 5 minutes to be effective. So, I dawned latex gloves and kept my unwilling cats in the bath for approximately 5 minutes (although it felt like 20, haha). I hope this helps - I'm so sick of fleas!

I woke up today tired, but I feel much better than the last two days of sinus headaches. I think I may have had a cold, but nothing serious. I finally went to the gym this afternoon. I couldn't make it on the elliptical as long as I wanted to but I'm very glad I went and got something done. I'm going to try and wake up early tomorrow and run before my appointment at 11am. I'm meeting with a potential photographer for our wedding. I really liked what I saw on her website, but she doesn't have any google reviews so I guess I'll have to make a judgement on her character and ability when I meet her.
On another note, I'm finding it hard to stick to my goals of staying under 1700 calories/day and working out 5 day a week. Granted, I was sick for 2 of those days. I'm slightly disappointed in my will power to say no to snacks, wine, and late night pizza. I tried to tell my fiance that I'm getting serious about my weight again, but he doesn't seem to get it. He keeps wanting to go out to eat and drinks every night. It gets hard to say no and I can suggest eating a salad only so many nights, haha.
This week, I'm determined to work on my will power. I will reach my goals because getting healthy is more important and feels better than having an extra slice of pizza, or stopping for frozen yogurt, or drinking and extra glass of wine.

So I've had a headache for the past 2 days. It seemed like a sinus headache, but on the second day of having it I think I might have a cold. I took Daytime Night Quill both days, and today it completely knocked me out. I have slept the majority of the afternoon and could continue sleeping if I hadn't forced myself to wake up. I'm going to still try to workout tonight, only because I've skipped the past two days in a row (unless cleaning the house counts, hehe). I'll probably take it easy - I just want to go there and do something.
On a different note, my first day of work went REALLY well. The kids I tutor are really nice, talkative, and pretty easy. All of my fears of doing something wrong or not being able to handle the kids went away once we started their lessons. I'm actually excited to go back on Tuesday.

This will be a quick one - I had my annual exam this morning and found out why I may be having a very specific pain (I'd rather talk about it on a public blog). So that was exciting. I'm also a little nervous for my first day of tutoring actual kids. I'm worried I might say the wrong thing or screw something on their program up or not give them enough points or just not be good at it. I guess we will find out this afternoon!
