car accident

On April 11 2013 my dad and I were e in a car accident. My dad broken his neck and 7 ribs. I on the other hand I have lower back whiplash. On Friday June 18 2013 I started PT. Yes the months of April and May I was in pain and could not do much of anything so all I did was eat and gain weight the ten pounds I loss I gain back 6 pound. My hope is ted o loss the weight plus more with PT. Today I worked up a good sweat. emoticon

    How is your dad doing. Broken neck, scary. Wrecks in general are scary. Sorry for all the pain. How something can change your life around in the matter of minutes. Hoope you and your dad heal fast.

Hi to all my teams. I know I joined some challenges the first week of Jan. but my internet had a problem contenting and I could not log in and post or do the jump start challenges. I will be start it over today 1/8/12 the some with the bookclub and Janet Evanorvich. Also any other teams I have

I lost 10 pounds. I'm since working out and eating right. I didn't have time to log in the last two day but I did get in 20 mins of resistance band work out and I ran around doing house work. On Monday though I work out with mom we do her PT I use the resistance band. Will my Aunt who I don't like since she think to knows everything started to tell my mom she was not do it right. My mom has been bed redden and that is why has is doing PT. My mom also has Dementia and forget thing even when she is in the middle of doing something. That is way I do the workout with her. While Mom became sad and it not want to do them anymore. My Aunt is not helpful at all. Then My aunt started to clean thanes that I had already clean. Which made me mad. Since I legally blind it should not upset me but my aunt will call my mom other sisters and say I not taking care of my mom right so I clean the house again and clean up the mess my aunt made since she just put thing anywhere. That why I didn't log in on Monday.

Tuesday I appointments all day but I since did 20 min of walking.

Tuesday My yoga DVD's and my yoga kit come in and I watch one of the DVD since I always watch my workout DVD before do them it helps my know what I can do and what I will need to modify.

Today I did some yoga in my chair and I feel good. Now I have ride with the Gold Wings to go on and can't wait.

woke up to pain

I woke up to cramp all over my body today. I think i did to much with the workout. But I still going and today I did 20 min resistance band workout video some yoga pose. AS long as I keep working out a little a day I can do it. still waiting for my DVDs and yoga kit to come in hopefully some time next week. that all for today

Resistance tube

Today I received my resistance tube. I have resistance band and I did care for them I had a hard time hold them and the bands pinched my hand. The resistance tube I brought are Gold Gym. The resistance tube are a kit. It comes with a DVD and a hand out with some exercises on it. Three tubes come with it one red, blue, and black. The red is the easiest, the blue, finely the black one. You can add the handle to all three at one time or do a combination of the tube. I like this the best because I can make my workout as easy or as hard as I wanted it to be.

I did the DVD and I'm really out of sharp. I couldn't even make it through the workout. I stop after the back workout. I'm going to keep at until I can do the whole workout. I believe the DVD is about 45 - 50 min long. I'll have to time it to be sure. off I go to workout some more. emoticon to bad I never look like this but there again I don't wait to .
