Well, I missed one question today, but I proudly answered three of the four. That is a reasonable score. Some of my more recent days have seen more, shall we say, challenging questions, but it is always fun to really KNOW the answers. Just remember that you shouldn't overcook your eggs if you don't want that nasty looking green showing around the yolk. Actually my husband boils the eggs at my house. His always turn out bright yellow and pretty. I'm more likely to let them boil too long.
I'm happy with today's effort. I actually do learn something almost every day that I play.

    Ginny,

Today, I did terrible. I think it took me 8 questions to get 3 correct.

We are almost ready to leave for our trip. I was ready last week when it was so cold.

Have a great day. I'll talk to you when I return.

I did not learn a thing today because I had three "no brainer" questions and got a rare perfect score!

I think I may need to get a different addiction on Spark. I had my worst showing on Trivia today. It took me 6 tries to get 3 correct answers today. I certainly don't know a lot about the more obscure vitamins. As a matter of fact, I am totally ignorant about fat soluble vitamins. Can someone tell me what that means? I know that there is water soluble fiber, but I didn't know anything about fat soluble vitamins. Believe me my ignorance was very apparent.
I hope my trivia friends had better questions than I did today. I wonder how many tries it takes before they recycle the questions. Hmmm - not that is a happy thought. I guess I should have taken notes on those vitamins.

Don't beat yourself up. Trivia is for fun. It took me 8 tries yesterday. I just try to read the answer so that I can learn something. If I learn 1 little tidbit of info from the trivia I feel that I learned a lot. You're not going to gain or lose over correct or wrong answers to trivia. Be easy on yourself.

Okay! It is a very nice day. The temperature rocketed right up to 44 this afternoon. Now a normal high for this area would be over 50, but after the temperatures we have been having for quite some time, 44 sounds absolutely tropical. I went for an outdoor walk which makes me happy. Everything is copacetic, or so it would seem.

It lasted until I had to get my daily Trivia fix. The game got me again today. It took 5 questions to get 3 correct responses. Now when you are trying to improve a falling average, 3 out of 5 simply won't do! My main complaint is one of the questions where I really felt that the answer was unfair, unfair, unfair. It had to do with eating immediately before retiring. For those of you who may get this in a personal attempt at perfection, the answer is that that food is metabolized exactly like something you might have eaten earlier. I didn't answer that because they put this very tricky little response that said part of the intake would turn to fat. Now, really, doesn't part of everything you eat turn to fat unless you have a caloric deficit for that day? And, how would you determine the metabolism rate? You doctors and nurses need to weigh in on this question.
The other missed question didn't bother me in the least because I knew I was just taking a shot in the dark. It was one of those hated multiple choice answers. In refined flour 17 of the nutrients are lost. I don't know anyone who would answer that with any certainty of having a correct answer. I mean my smartest and biggest know-it-all friend wouldn't know that one.

The game zonked me today, too. I needed SEVEN questions to get three right! And I was so proud of bringing my average up. Pride goeth before a fall.

Trivia beat me again today. It is so frustrating after having a few good days. Yesterday and today my score really did stink. I need some easier questions for a change. Actually these probably weren't that hard and if I had gone with my first choice on one of them, I would have gotten 3 out of 4 instead of 5. Does everyone know that serotonin is stored in the gastrointestinal tract? If you get that one, you'll know now. Serotonin just sounds like something that would be in the brain to me.
If the weather would just get back to normal in Georgia, I wouldn't be obsessing over my Trivia performance or lack thereof.

I agree. I've started reading all the Health articles. I had been skipping around the alphabet. Now, I'm about halfway through C. Once in a while, I'll guess right. Usually it still takes several times.
You will never see me on the top 10 board!

    emoticonYou are making me laugh!!

You must have much higher expectations than I do. I am thrilled with 3 out of 4. That makes a result of 4 out of 5 really good for me. After months of playing almost everyday, I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've gone 3 for 3.

Me thinks the Georgia weather has very little to do with your "obsession". Your word not mine. I think there's just a wee bit of competitive nature in your blood, even if it's just competing with yourself. And I say "Good For You!!"
emoticonSee you on the Exercise Spreadsheets!

I have had that serotonin one and, like you, thought it was in the brain. Now I know better so we are learning from the game. I had an easy day with a perfect score.

Okay, so I was enjoying a sense of becoming smarter on my health knowledge yesterday and I guess the day before that. I had been getting 3 of 3 on Trivia. Now I'm back to reality today. I didn't KNOW as much as I thought I did. Today it took 5 questions for me to get my 3 correct responses. I guess I better start on the A - articles and reading through the Z's. Maybe I can retain enough information to get my average back to a passing grade. Who would have ever thought that there was so much to know in the subject of health?

I know what you mean. I thought that I knew more than I do. Sometimes I will get all three the first time. That's rare. Sometimes it takes several times. It's in our favor that we get more chances.
Have a great relaxing Sunday. It's too cold t0 venture outside. Maybe it will warm up soon.
I do have to go out tomorrow.
