Changin' Gina, Day #2 6-24-2008

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

It's Tuesday....I have to work 12 hours today, so I'm going to be super busy.

The plan:
Get in at least 10,000 steps today.
Get 60 minutes of workout time in (already did 30 minutes of Turbo Jam).
Take multi-vitamins.
Drink as much water as possible!

Breakfast: Southwestern Omelet
Snack: Lightfull Cafe Late Smoothie & VitaTop
Lunch: Tuna Wrap, Mixed Fruit, Sliced Tomato & Cucumbers
Snack: Yoplait Light Apple Turnover Yogurt, Sliced Turkey
Dinner: Salad w/ Ranch Dressing, Bruschetta Boca Burger on Whole Wheat Bun, Sweet Potato
Snack: Fiber One Bar & Rice Pudding

About 1450 calories

What happened: What a crazy day! The computer wouldn't work all day today at work, so it made things very difficult. We were especially busy this evening! But overall a good day...but a long one. And I have another 12 hour day tomorrow, so off to bed I go!!!

The Beginning

Monday, June 23, 2008

The past few weeks definitley haven't been the greatest. I started off the challenge with a clear head...trying to forget the past few months of screw ups...but it didn't work like I planned. One week into it...and my eating went down the tubes again and my exercising became nonexistant. Ugh. I'm not happy about it...but enough is enough. It's time to fuel my body with the foods that make me have more energy and feel better, and promote good health. I need to stop this if I slip up mentatility then the entire week goes up in flames. Making bad choices is a part of life...but it shouldn't cause a downward spiral of events. So today is the beginning of the new me. The healthy me. The exercising me. The not talking negative about myself me.

Let's roll.

My eating plan for today:

Breakfast: 2 nutri-grain waffles & 2 egg whites
Snack: Lightfull Smoothie
Lunch: Turkey Wrap (Low Carb La Tortilla Factory Wrap, Oven Roasted Turkey Breast. Garlic & Herb Laughing Cow Cheese, lettuce & tomato), Fresh Fruit (cantaloupe, grapes, apple slices, and strawberries), String Cheese
Snack: Cucumbers w/ Ranch dressing & Amaretto Cheesecake Yogurt
Dinner: Crab Wrap, Salad (radishes, lettuce, tomatos, cucumbers) with Wishbone Ranch Spritzer
Snack: VitaTop

I Love the wishbone spritzers, then yesterday I was at the supermarket and noticed that Ken's has a new line of 'em. The Ken's ones don't have any high fructose corn syrup (the wishbone ones, sadly, my brother so kindly pointed out one evening as I was spritzing away and he was here visiting...) So check out the Ken's ones too. They even have a walnut vinaigrette one that's pretty tasty :)

I see no PB. What kind of PB do you like? I've recently become a fan of Naturally More, but I also like Skippy Natural Superchunk/crunchy kind whatever it's called.... and Soy Wonder crunchy. (I like crunchy, but Naturally More is so good...) Anyway, just curious. :D
