Booty Camp
It's time I got my booty in gear, so I'm making some plans for the next 4 weeks. I'm calling it Booty Camp! I hope to get my booty in a smaller size jeans. Woohoo! I've made plans regarding exercise, my diet and my life as a whole.
My plan for exercise:
Monday: 70 minutes strength + 20 minutes cardio
Tuesday: 30 minutes strength + 45 minutes cardio
Wednesday: 70 minutes cardio
Thursday: 30 minutes cardio + 30 minutes strength
Friday: rest
Saturday: 45 minutes cardio + 30 minutes strength
Sunday: 90 minutes cardio
The purpose of a boot camp is to push yourself to the limits. I've chosen five exercises that I HATE doing. Not because they are ineffective...in actuality these are some of the MOST effective exercises for your arms, abs and lower body. But I HATE doing them. LoL. So. I've decided to set a goal of doing 100 of each of these exercises every single week. And for everyday I don't follow through with a part of my boot camp I add on additional 5 of each. I know this is going to be a pain. And I'll probably hate it. But....I'm gonna rock it just the same.
Tricep Dips
Leg Lifts
Push Ups
Reverse Crunches
Walking Lunges
My Food Plan
I’m done counting calories…I’ve done it for quite some time. I think I’ve mastered the “art” of calorie counting. Pretty much everyday that I count them, I’m right on point with calories, carbs, proteins, fats, fiber, etc. And it’s certainly something I don’t want to do forever. So I plan to count my servings and I think I’ll be in good shape. Guess we’ll find out.
My plan:
Grains & Starchy Veggies: 5
Fruit & Vegetables: 6
Dairy: 2
Protein-rich Foods: 6
Healthy fat: 5
This will ensure I get an adequate amount of vitamins and minerals as well as fiber.
I will also drink 12 cups of water each day.
And of course, I will be taking my 8 supplements.
Follow my meal plans:
Monday:
Breakfast: Waffles
Lunch: Caesar Chicken Salad
Dinner: Salt & Pepper Salmon
Tuesday:
Breakfast: Waffles
Lunch: Asian Sesame Chicken Salad
Dinner: Cheesy Chicken Cordon Bleu
Wednesday:
Breakfast: Waffles
Lunch: Caesar Chicken Salad
Dinner: 5 Spice Cajun Shrimp
Thursday:
Breakfast: Waffles
Lunch: Asian Sesame Chicken Salad
Dinner: Baked Tilapia w/ Paprika & Garlic
I’ll of course eat veggies with my dinners, snacks will be fruit/veggies, laughing cow cheese & melba toast, popcorn, etc.
Life Goals:
Within these next 4 weeks, I will study for a minimum of 1 hour each day. I will complete the CFT test and get certified!
I will continue to search for a new job, applying at various places, sending out my resume, etc.
I will try to spend more time with my friends. I feel like lately I haven’t devoted much time to them.
For every negative thought I think throughout the day, I will replace it with a positive one.
I will save $$ as much as possible. I need a new car!
I will blog every single day about my progress.
I will try at least 3 new recipes each week.

Negatives:
-Still no news on the stupid car situation
-They cut our hours at work
-Still no word back from Red Lobster
Positives:
-The response for the new Challenge on my SparkTeam are enormous! I'm thrilled so many people are joining!
-I stayed within calorie ranges all week
-I took all my vitamins every day
-I worked out everyday this week, even if it was just with the Wii
-Almost done with my PT book, like 2 more sections then I'm finished!
Okay..looking back it appears I have more positives then negatives. I guess I shouldn't complain that much!
So this up coming week should be better. :) I have my meals all planned out.
Monday
Breakfast: Waffles & Fruit
Lunch: Caesar Chicken Salad
Dinner: Veggie Omelet
Tuesday
Breakfast: Canadian Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich & Fruit
Lunch: Asian Chicken Sesame Salad

And as always lots of water & all my vitamins!!!
Oh yeah... I got my new supplement book in the mail. Bought it off amazon.com for 94 cents. LoL. Can't wait to read it. :D
So meals are all planned. We begin the new challenge on my SparkTeam tomorrow. Woohoo! I'm in the midst of a challenge on the Turbo Addicts thread on WOWY. Racking up those points for my pumped up peeps! Woohoo! I feel great...:)

So...last night I was driving home, talking to Geno & my car died. Like literally just went kurplunk. Right in the middle of the road. I got lucky and this guy who was off duty & just happened to be a service safety patrol man for people on the interstate pulled over the help me. He pushed my car out of the way. He opened up some compartment under my hood & said it was my timing belt. SO NOT GOOD. My dad said since it broke it probably totally screwed up my motor. Just what I need. Only like 2 months away from being certified as a PT and TK instructor where I could make a decent living & my car DIES. GRRRRRRRR. It's not worth fixing either. It's a hunk of crap. It has 158,000 miles on it. It just wants to sleep & I don't blame it.
The problem is I don't have the $$ to fix it (and like I said, it's SO not worth it) and I don't have $$ to buy a new car, really. So...I'm in such a jam right now. They're cutting hours at work, GREAT TIMING, right? So....I'm searching through ads in the paper. I really don't want to leave my current job for yet another job I don't want a career in, only to leave that job in a few months. It just seems stupid. So my only real option is to get a second job. I really right now work 2, because of my coaching. So that would make 3! I'm hoping I can find some type of waitressing job at like Red Lobster of Applebees and only work every other weekend. That would give me enough income to pay a new car payment. I'm not sure if anyone is willing to allow me to work that few of hours though. But it would be like 10-12 hours every other week. Who knows. We'll see.
I'm gonna go pick up an application @ Red Lobster today. They have an ad in the paper for servers. Can't hurt right? I've never waitressed before, and I'm a bit nervous. But I think I would actually enjoy it. As opposed to my current job where I sit on my a$$ all day long, I would actually get to move during this one. And interact with people. :) So...wish me luck.
Anyways...needless to say the exercise was nonexistant this morning. I didn't sleep worth a crap, and was so MAD this morning I was like screw it. I'm doing good eating wise though. I will just use this as my rest day for the week and work out Friday instead.
What I'm hoping for...is that I can get this job at Red Lobster..or somewhere else part time for that matter. Save up some money for a few weeks. Possibly drive my sisters or my moms car for the next couple weeks, and then go buy a new one. Well...used, but new to me. :D
Ugh. LIFE....what a pain sometimes.
