My dd doesn't do sparks anymore either, I don't believe, but she still excercise's and eats healthy, at the present time, she lives here with me with her two youngest kids who are 12 and 13 yrs. of age. She does help inspire me and encourage's also. emoticon

Great idea! My DD is a SP but doesn't log on. She has dropped a dress size and is looking so good!! DDil also has lost 45 since the Spring and is looking fabulous. She says she doesn't have time for SP either. LOL I am sticking with SP but as a loner, I guess! AT least I am making progress!!

Another good Healhy Reflection

Sunday, July 24, 2011

I read the Healthy Reflections and many are too good to leave. I repost here because I am not sure everyone gets the Healthy Reflections daily. If you don't you should sign up for them.

HEALTHY REFLECTIONS for July 24

You must be careful how you walk and where you go, for there are those following you who will set their feet where yours are set.- Robert E. Lee, Civil War General

Be worthy of imitation

They say imitation is the greatest compliment, but are your actions worthy of imitation? We are all in some setting of leadership. Whether it be as a parent, boss, or friend we should constantly examine the example we are setting for those around us. Are you being a positive role model? Are you treating others in a dignified way? Be a cheerful and diligent worker, parent, and boss to those around you. Children, especially, are like sponges taking in your every action and word--they naturally want to be just like you. So be mindful of your word and deed, you never know who might be watching and silently learning what you are demonstrating.

Thanks for sharing it. Sometimes I like the Healthy Reflections, and sometimes I don't. I do subscribe to them, like you, but sometimes they seem like just more fortune cookie wisdom. Sometimes I get one I find meaningful though.

Today's Healthy Reflection good for everyone

Saturday, July 09, 2011

Great Healthy Reflection today. We all need to follow it.

HEALTHY REFLECTIONS
If the world seems cold to you, kindle fire to warm it.- Lucy Larcom, hymnist

Lighting fires in the cold

It is very easy to complain about the state of the world and point fingers, especially when you're having a bad day. What is not so easy--and yet desperately needed at times--is for people to step up and make a difference. Don't be intimidated by others, wallow in your own negative feelings, or sit back and assume someone will do it when you are capable yourself! Relating to others around you isn't always easy, but lending a helping hand, extending a hand in friendship, or expressing a word of encouragement can make a big difference to someone. The fate of many has been changed by the actions of just one person who has grown tired of "how it's always been done" and instead turns and does something more positive. The world does not demand of you to give your entire life, but we can all be instruments of positive change. What can you do to make this world better?

Oklahoma Loser's team leaders

Saturday, April 09, 2011

I am a team leader of the Oklahoma Losers. I recently asked for some new team leaders to take over. Now we have three new team leaders, much younger and ready to make my Oklahoma team Spark alive. They have some great ideas and I am excited to see them get them started. I will be removing my name as team leader as even as old as I am, I have a very busy schedule and just don't seem to be motivating the Okies like I should. Come on team, let's get the Spark back. Support your team leaders and get Spark excited.

Swelling Head

Sunday, July 25, 2010

I continue to receive comments, goodies and sparkmail. I have lost count but it is somewhere around 100. I am using this blog to thank you all as time does not permit me to thank each one separate. My head is swelling from all the compliments. I have a lot of new friends. Please, keep in contact often. Join one of my teams and chat with me.
Is this a great place or what??

    Hi
I have passed the point mark where they tell me how many points to my next award, so I guess I am finally there. emoticon
I walked 4.2 miles this morning trying to get my weight back down again.
Joe and I are working hard on the Gallery and Market. Both are holding steady.

Great to see you still here and smiling. Best wishes always,

Jean
