Ever learning about myselfWednesday, May 08, 2013Did something I know I should never do. I went to lunch with my hubby midweek. Not that I should not go to lunch but I should scour the menu and pick the location. Also I like my cheat day on the weekend. We had New Orleans food fried crawfish and a seafood bisque with a poboy with grilled shrimp. They brought bread to the table and I said I would not eat it because my sandwich had bread on it but I ate it anyway. The crawfish was tasty but since I stopped eating the white refined bread it made me feel too heavy as well as the grease from the crawfish. Lesson learned. I guess I had my cheat day for the week early. Back on focus. By the way I lost 2 lbs more this week so proud of myself. Learning daily how to have grace for myself and not beating myself up for little slipups. I have never been more focused. ![]()

Don't think of it as a slip up. Moderation is the key. We all eat a bit more than we should, at times, but now that you are eating healthy your body will rebel. Soon you'll be more likely to avoid the fried food because your body will react quite negatively to it. You should be proud of yourself! Not only for the 2 pound weight loss, but that you didn't "go crazy" after having a cheat day midweek. I know I used to just eat everything in sight if I thought I "messed up." Not anymore!
