Yesterday I planned on getting in another good elliptical workout. I had a great cardio workout on Sunday and felt pretty good. Well, yesterday I woke up with a weird headache and a dry scratchy throat. I went food shopping and felt kind of sick at the store. So, after I was home and the groceries put away, the rest of the day I pretty much stayed stationery. I was kind of dizzy and just not myself. Later in the day I had 'gas' issues. Once that passed I felt better.
So, today my daughter had off from school because of the freezing rain. I cleaned the bathrooms, dealt with dishes and hemmed some of her jeans. I knew my daughter would not have school tomorrow either because of the impending ice storm, so I decided to workout after dinner. It wasn't planned, I kind of just decided that I felt okay to get some movement into my day. My throat is still dry and scratchy (post nasal drip I think), but I did okay on the elliptical. I watched the 1st half of the 1st episode of 'Heavy' during my workout and it seemed to go quickly for me (I've never watched TV while working out before).
So this evening I decided to join the "Official 28-Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge" here on SparkPeople. I am so hoping I can do this. Its a short month and I need to re-lose the weight I gained over the Christmas/New Year holidays. January wasn't the month I wanted it to be, but I'm hoping in February I can make up for that.
