lOST 2 POUNDS

I walked a lot yesterday --I am enjoying it all. Our camping trip was fun--I was a bit worried that I would gain weight but at the weigh in today I was down 2 pounds. I felt really good about that.
It is late --or early in the morning so I had better go to sleep.

Walking

The plan for the day is to walk to the train station--ride to Rancho & go to Nimbus for fun with the family.

I gotta be selfish and go my own way in order to get the exercise
This is a new one for me taking care of myself --first.

I planted some growing potatoes--to see if I can get some little fresh ones. I like to watch things grow.

I am excited now that my Blood Pressure has gone from 147/as high as 114 to 136/76. I feel all proud!!!!

My waist is a bit smaller---thats a start--it started out about 53" and I would like to see it go to 40" by September.

I just need to continue watching my intake of life and how I handle it.

I refuse to not believe what I see & is proven to be true.

I am letting myself take a step back and disassociate with what realy doesn't matter anyway.

I am now picking my good times deliberately.

The good times include small things --like good home grown tomatoes & loud music that excites & sooths the mind & body.
Walks bring on the endorphins --soo ya know I want that~~~~

Food Plan for the day:

Breakfast: Berry, bran, flax, ff milk, yogurt
Lunch: Large salad & a little bread or l bite of pizza
Dinner: 6 egg whites--carrots--- more veg
Snack: 3 c Air popped , popcorn

Day one

I am starting to paint the trim on the house today. Then I will scrub the deck again then paint it too---that will be a day to celebrate--I have been working on getting this new home painted in and out for months!!!!
I made it through yesterday just fine with the food thing.
TODAY :
B---1c, smoothie--berries, bran, flax,yogurt--six egg whites
Lunch--cauliflower--greens
Dinner--salmon patty mixed veg
Snack--sf popsicle, couple of chips(9)--1c. smoothie frozen

well, the paint looked like John Deere green--not good for trim--so, I will have to have more mixed--big expense--but I need a different color!!
I didn't have the salmon patty, chips, or popsicle
I did have 2 cups of movie popcorn(kids deal--no candy) emoticonI walked 6 miles all proud of myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my doctor--with the new insurance came an old favorite doctor==easy to talk to = great!!
When she saw my weight she didn't make a big deal about it.
The great news is that my blood pressure has gone from high to a nice 137/76 emoticon
B-4 egg whites & berry shake
L- green beans, artichokes, mixed veg
D- greens
It has been a good day

We had a fun week at the lake. It was sooo nice to have family around the camp fire and on the lake.
My garden almost died from the heat--I am watering it well right now.
I am looking forward to the weigh in on Thursday--
