With freedom comes responsibility---What a great day to thank those who gave themselves for the freedom of this country--Thanks DAD--Wayne--Melvin--Uncle Bill--Jim--Thank a VET--thank a guy or gal in uniform----If ya can't bring yourself to say something--some folks are a little shy--GIVE THEM A GREAT BIG SMILE. Remember to thank their families too --who sacraficed the years and together with their mates served our country--holding the family together through many difficult times. Thanks MOM.

My plan for the day IS ONE to read your Blogs they are a pleasure to share with you!!!! Thanks for taking the time to write them.

a parade--looks like it will be by myself.
Walk for a while. Stop & watch parade
Family coming over and we will go to Nimbus for water fun and then to the Rodeo and fireworks this evening.

Breakfast :
Berry smoothie--3berry from Costco--2 heaping T bran--1 heaping T Flax seed--1/2 c ff milk--1c water mixed in blender

Lunch:
Salad---with some protein

Dinner:
Pork Loin---grilled---califlower--corn on cob--sf jello with ff yogurt mixed in and peaches( didn't happen I had a chicken and cabbage & rice bowl at the rodeo)

Snack:
Air poped popcorn with or without 1 T olive oil and parma cheese--and orageno & garlic---(NO SNACKS HAPPENED)
Remember to take sf flavor mix for water at the Rodeo

Weigh in day with weight challenge

HEY,
I lost 3.4 pounds this last week--Good!!!!! emoticonSlow and easy---Sounds easier than it is.
Now to keep it off this week and lose more weight---without binging---I had this today.
Breakfast:
Smoothie--bran-flax-1/2 c ff milk--1c water--1c frozen mixed berries-from Costco
1 T Splenda
Lunch:
large salad--mushrooms, a lot--3 bean salad--broccoli--I had this with 1/12 of small pizza

Dinner:
3 c. home made veg soup
1 can beef total of 200 cal from Costco
Snack---chips---150 cal---pancakes & nuts, 350

~~~~~~~~~Total about 14oo calories

No exercise today.(EXERCISE VIDIO--10MIN)

Mall Walked

I went to Sunrise Mall and walked for 3 miles--it was soo nice and cool--met some nice women --a lot of folks walk there--it opens for walking before it opens for shopping.
I went to Barnes & Noble and looked through some diet books that I had heard of--none worth buying.
I came home and had lunch and invented a cookie that I can eat that is mainly 1/4bran, 1/4oats, a container of baby prune, Splenda, a T sugar, 1 egg white, 1/2 baking powder, 1T smooth PB, 1T buttermilk--1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice--I just started dumping stuff that sounded like it would make a cookie I could eat and not ruin my eating plan. I wrote this down because I liked them and I will try them again some time soon. I am not sure that this was the amounts--sooo I will have to test the cookie again.
Breakfast:
Smoothie---1/2 cup water --1/2 cup mixed berries from Costco
heaping T Bran--heaping T of Flax seed
Lunch:
2c. homemade veg soup+1/4 cup crushed corn chips

Snack: Cookies & 1 c. ff milk---1/2 c carrot juice

Dinner:
Chicken Broth With green beans & chopped garlic

Ride bike for 30 minutes while watching TV.

  You go Mary!! Sounds like an interesting cookie you got going there. I am glad you are using flax seed , I add it to a lot of things too, Are you a homemade juicer? I have thought about getting one. Glad you enjoyed your walk and met some nice people. It is funny how we look at all these cook books when we really know what we need to do! I have them too! LOL. Keep up the great work. I can see those pounds just melting away!! Hugs. Pat

Another day to play with the Boys. I hope they are up for an early morning walk & want to watch the cattle drive in Folsom.(Picked the wrong day--the bulls show up Wed. @ noon!!!)
I love going to the drive & the Rodeo. Folsom is having a Family Pack for $50 2 adults--2 Kids--4hotdogs-4drinks--some rides--some tickets for Fairytale land ( or some such thing) a better rate than I paid--I paid 90 some dollars just for tickets--gonna see if they will exchange them.
Breakfast: 1/2 berry smoothie
1/2 c. egg whites
Lunch: Tuna & lettuce(added 2 fourty cal bread)

Dinner: Veg Soup---Salmon

Snack: 3T air popcorn---sf Popsicle--side salad

Breakfast: 1c. eggbeaters, 2 skinless chicken legs, water -coffee
Ride bike 60 minutes
Walk away from house for 30 minutes--take time to smell the roses and smile.
Lunch: soup with ff cheese--,
Dinner: salmon--large green salad
Snack: 2T popcorn kernels, 2sides green salad-1/4 of the package of dressing @ Berger King

Go to The Home Depot for Miracle Grow Soil and liquid for the lawn--it need something --new and it is light green.
Weed garden--wish that I could just let them grow without feeling guilty. My hands hurt --so at least pull a few. Don't want a jungle out there!!
Read the paper when I reach Base --stop and take a break in my walk.
Check for stuff for my study/exercise room--It needs organizing--soon I will be through with the outside of the house and then I can do the fun stuff--different furniture, ect.
Ride the bike every time I pass it--I moved it between the living room and the kitchen. Even if it is to ride it for a minute!!!!
Work on posture--I have noticed that I am not walking with shoulders back--I am working on developing my back muscles, so that I can stand straighter without sooo much effort.
