I weigh 209 on Kaiser scales
TOPS scale 216

I don't think that really matters--what matters is that the scales move LOWER!!

WALKED yesterday--walking again today--tonight some steper, bike, flyer and if I can get it to work the body gym--and yoga with the balls.

I am aware of when I eat and what I eat. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I know that feeling and it can really be frustrating. My home scales can change from one minute to the next. I only post my TOPS weigh-in and use the home scale rarely. lol ((HUGS))

    Grrr, me and the scales battle it out regularly. I won't even look at the scale anymore at my doctor's; I turn around backwards when they weigh me!

    The power of positive thinking!! On one day I had three scales - my Drs said I was 306, my Wii Fit said I was 289 and my home scale said 294! When I asked the Dr about it she said she knew hers was calibrated BUT that she would (like yourself) not worry unless the number wasn't smaller next time!

Had a nice visit with family from out of state. thay spent a few days and it was good to catch up on what has been going on and showed them a bit of Ca.

They went home this morning.

Now, I still have that brick to lay and it is not the first thing on my list.
I do NOT like having to stop a project--I lose all the excitment. I have to wait until the step is poured and cured.

I also may have to dig up more lawn! Or just wait until next year to get it right.

Oh well, this is a weight loss site and I need to focus on that. I am not getting it!!
I am thinking that all else is a diversion.

Maybe I am too hard on myself then end up eating at the slightest hurt or empty feeling that I have no control over.

Kaiser has a test to see how many calories a person burns.
I will make that phone call on Tuesday and make an appointment
I think it will help.
sounda interesting---it will give me a starting point.

    I would definitely like to know more about the metabolic testing! I have Kaiser insurance also and am wondering if this costs more than a co-pay.

    This sounds interesting to me too. Let us know (blog) what this test is about.

My gym does something called a metabolic test (for a sizeable fee). They use a company that brings some special equipment and it might be the same type of technology. It's not invasive at all, but you do sit quietly in an isolated chamber for a few minutes. I wonder exactly how they do this?

I went to Kaiser and found that I gained 8 pounds---not as bad as I thought.
Well, only one thing to do. I hope I have healed enough to go through my exercises.
My arm is still sore--so I will just do all except the weights.
I must remember to start with 30 minutes and if that is ok then to 60.

Well another day--another weigh.

    HEY MARY. . . . . You are back on the train, the one that runs to "SUCCESS"...
iF 30 min is too much at one time at first - then start with 10 several times a day and build from there.. don't jump into it TOO FAST or you will crash (or hurt yourself)

    Get back on the wagon with food too sweetie. That is an important factor. I didn't read your prior blogs-sorry-so I don't know the history, but I'm certain it doesn't just have to do with not exercising.

You are worth the effort it takes to do your best for yourself.

I am going to Kaiser to weigh ~~ it feels more official there. Thats where the numbers are that will determine--BP, AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF. AND THAT IS WHERE DR. MOLETA IS WITH HER DEEP CONCERN.
So I continue on trying NOT to feel like I will never reach my goal. Two steps forward one step back, I wish I were more of a people person.
