Plan ahead

Back to planning ahead:
1. Exercise on bike for 30 min or more

2. Drink 1/2 c. milk 1/2 cup of fruit with berries, bran,flax

3. Walk away from the house

4. Drink water

5. Eat carrots, lettuce, apple, cold single drinks in water

6. Read my book, in fact -- sit in a cool spot and do not move
until I have enjoyed every page!!!!

7. Take a break from food-----I am giving food tooooo much power.

8. Movie @ 2:00 at Crest (DIDN'T MAKE THE MOVIE -READING BOOK)

Out of control ( as if I ever had control!!!) Nothing is safe. I am exercising though.
Saturday is A fresh day and I will find fun things to do and MOVE around for fun not just work.
I will finish the book I have been trying to read--maybe at the river after the morning exercise on bike and a walk.

    Hang in there! We all have our ups and downs. Make sure you don't try to change everything at once. The key is to make small chnges over a period of time. This will allow ou to develope healthy lifestyle changes.

There I sat, starting a nice lunch when husband stuck his head in the door and asked wasn't this my weigh in day!! Now he has NEVER before done this sort of support--I was pleasantly surprised. Sooo, off I went to the Community Weigh in.

It turns out that I have still kept 4 pounds off emoticon

I am off to buy cowgirl boots for the 8 yr olds Birthday.

I lost weight -- then spent the week telling myself to eat less--I didn't keep track of food--soooo I ate a lot of Nochos and 2 light beers and then cheese cake--- it wasn't even good stuff!!!!!

The grand kids are gonna hang out with me for a few weeks this summer---that will be fun.

youngest grand daughter is having her birthday party on the 5th--she wants cowgirl boots--she will be 8.

Thursday I will weigh in --even though that child within is screaming how unfair it is to have to watch my food and go when SHE knows she may be called on not following rules--because I followed the rules all my life--got hurt---but who hasn't been disappointed in something sometime? Pitty Pot?????

All that doesn't matter Off I go canoing!!! FUN is GOOD!!!

Yesterday Community Challenge Weigh In

So we weighed in and it showed me losing 9 pounds--scares me a little because I know I didn't get enough calories last week--just worked out that way and I was dehydrated from the hot day.
Now I hope that I don't gain it back this week!! Ah Well, I guess time will tell --I will just continue eating whats good for me and try to stay within a good range.

I went out and bought me a few new tops and some cropped pants--and I can wear my blouse that I bought last summer and couldn't fit--thats good news!!!!! Good surprise.

My Son called to tell me that he no longer needs me to watch the four grand sons. He said that I should just be a grandma. Hurt my feelings---but it is what they want. It saddens me not to see them as much--that means I will not see him also. I will see them on vacation for 4 days though--- in July. Life passes so fast.

Well, our church group has started a walking group--I start the first thing Sat. morning at 8am--I don't know how many times a week they will walk even one will help me. My other group-is walking on Sun. so that will be 2 for the week and I am going back to my bike and exercise machine--started tonight. A little at a time baby steps will get me where I want to go.

Thanks for the encouragement. I went out and about the other day and saw a movie and as I said I went shopping for myself.

    Hi Mary, I know how you feel about the grandkids. My ex daughter inlaw won't allow me to take my beautiful granddaughter without her or her parents supervision because of something that happened between her and my son.
On the other subject. You are going to the Community WLC in North Highlands? If so, ME TOO! I go Wed eve at FCC. I am learning alot even though my first WI only produced a one pound loss.
Oh yeah emoticon on 9 pounds.

    Way to go with your weight loss, Mary!

With my weight loss I've been having a ball - just replacing all my icky old t-shirts, getting new shorts, new pants - not too many 'cause I'm going to have to seriously invest in belts!!!

And, it's great to have people to walk with, wonderful!
