50 pounds lost I must remember that!!

Friday, March 12, 2010

I don't tend to give myself credit for the effort I put out to lose that 50 pounds!!

I have only been focusing on what I still had to lose,
Today I will celebrate THAT 50 pounds GONE---I was afraid to acknowledge it--afraid that it would come back!!!

I WILL TRUST MYSELF NOT ONLY TO LOSE MORE --- I WILL NOT BELIEVE THE
WOMAN/ MAN WHO SAID TO ME " IT WAS JUST LUCK!"
" YOU ARE FAT,UGLY, AND DISGUSTING"

I will never repeat those words again----that gives them power to hurt me again!!!!

Who would have ever thought that a weight group like SPARK PEOPLE would make me think beyond beating myself up for not being skinny and small!!!

SPARK PEOPLE touches the mind , body, and soul of a person.

I am going to just relax

Thursday, March 11, 2010

I have been stressing over food. I decided to relax this week and just exercise--not make the weight loss my whole life. A week vacation from food.
So I will not track food through Wednesday.

I will exercise -- because I like it.

Grandkids

Thursday, March 11, 2010

I miss seeing them every day--ya know how they grow up soo fast. Well due to them being sick i was summoned to care for them I will also care for them on Thurs .

Now , they are not real sick--but need to stay home until they are not able to share it with others!!
So, it was a fun day--

but I missed my exercise.

So, this evening I line danced with the group for 45 minutes--yoga this morning for 10 and now I need to put in the 60 I should have gotten today.
I will feel that I have succeeded for the day when I am through!!!!!!!!! emoticon

I for sure agree with the last one. I'm learning that attitude is key to success. It motivates me to stay positive, helps me to see the positive and the results that I am getting, no matter how slow, and it encourages others around me. All around good stuff. emoticon

It will happen Im not having much luck either Fri. is the end of my 6 week food regimen for the doctor. No breads of any kind no deserts except 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream, No pasta
No bananas a lot of food restictions and I still didn't lose only 1/2 lb in 6 weeks .My belly has started swelling back up again and I feel tired, and have headaches, so doing without the starches didn't seem to help except for the tightness in my chest and throat and my heart didn't hurt . The blood test will let us know for sure .The other person is losing 4 lbs or more a week he is in my church group and has the same doctor as I do ..We both did the same thing except I exercised alot more .I wish you the best on this journey to a healthier happier thinner lifestyle . You have done an amazing job , keep up the good work . God bless. emoticon emoticon

It is easy to support someone who is so willing to put out the effort to make it a beautiful day.
Smiles and positive thoughts produce some truly wonderful vibrations.
You are so engaged in making the world a better place.
Thoughts and prayers continue for your family and especially for baby Joseph.
