God does his job most EXCELLENT!

I am learning what Let go and Let God means.

1. Simply be still do NOT try to fix anything about situation
I am NOT in control, I can not control it.
I did not break it
I can not mend it
Just let it be.

I CAN:

Laugh-it is more than ok
Exercise
Dance--doesn't have to be perfect
Dance like no one is watching ( they are not, they are worried about their own stuff :)
Eat well
Permission to engage with others
Plan vacation
Consider and explore a simple job --consider all possibilities

I wanna lose this fat around my waist!! It has to go next or I am going to look awfully funny with tooth picks for legs holding up a gigantic pumpkin belly!!

Right now I have legs the right size --but a big ol' waist--big blouses do NOT hide it!!

I have been thinking of the old ladies i saw as a kid who carried around a chair pad--I now know why!! I have lost the padding on my rear end and can't sit straight up the bones are right there!!
I HOPE THAT MUSCLE WILL BUILD UP IN THE OLD REAR AND GIVE ME A BIT OF PADDING!

Food as a drug

I have used food to smooth over the ruff parts of life. Ya know, it does NOT work.
The problems are still there when the stuffing is done--then another problem has been added. emoticon
NOw, that I am usually not reaching for food to solve my feelings I am sad more often,

This too will become a thing of the past--I just have to let the feelings be and just exercise, and find other things to think of.

There are many articles written on the subject of tension eating. The bottom line is I have to feel the feelings --face the root of the feelings--then wait for the feelings to dissolve.

Did I mention that I didn't sign on for this life???????? Ya know I was wanting the one I saw advertised as a kid--Beaver and Father Knows Best--

The tricky part is facing the reality of the root of the feelings--no one else can fix it for me. DERN!! emoticon emoticon

The answer is eat well, take care of myself, and enjoy exercising--the sign of success at the end of the day!!!

With the help of Spark friends I will lose this weight and be the healthy person within!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Exercise works wonders for me. I have become addicted to it instead of food and feel like a whole new person. Just give it some time to work. And combined with eating healthy and weight loss you'll feel fantastic!
