sad

Sunday, February 28, 2010

I am so unbelievably sad to day. I can not shake it. I will be soooo happy when tomorrow arrives--a new day with new feelings!!!
Dern I hate the blues--I wanna just blow myself to oblivion--but I know tomorrow will bring emotionally better feelings.

I'm sorry you're so sad! My therapist recommended that I either go outside in the sunlight for 30 minutes or if that isn't possible to sit by a window. Also to write my feelings in a journal.

I will admit that I don't always do these and you probably have heard to do them already. One thing that helps me is to read some of the inspirational stories on here or just pick up my Bible and read.

I am certainly going to be praying for you. God loves you so much that he sent his only son to die on a cross for you. If he loves you that much (which he does) and he created you (which he did) then you must know that you are so very important. He is a friend who is there for you anytime, anywhere. It doesn't matter what time of day or night, he's always there to listen. If you don't have a church, please find one. Christian friends are so much better many times than our blood family. Please don't even consider blowing yourself to oblivion or anything else along those lines.

I love you & God loves you!

Karen

You are a great person & you are worth emoticon emoticon emoticon

Just going to bed with the idea that tomorrow will be better usually works...wishing you a restful sleep and a brand new outlook tomorrow.

Made it through another day

Saturday, February 27, 2010

It was one of those hard days that I had to make sure that I laughed and made myself go out and talk with people. It always makes me feel beter to laugh.

I ate my calories and did my exercise--so that is wonderful---The rain interuped my plans in the yard. Bummer

Need to focus on...ME, ME, ME, ME !!!! : )

Thursday, February 25, 2010

I need to focus on fun today--that will take care of everything else.
Plant my poor potted flower and let it grow!! The dear thing has held on for 5 years and now I hope it makes it. It is a pretty bright pink/red

I will get the stuff for the lawn and good soil to add to garden area--if it doesn't start raining!

I will walk--thank Him for the beautiful world. Not give in to past memories unless they are fun--if negative creeps in I will wipe it off the slate!!! emoticon emoticon

I do love the dancing--it sooths me--nice. emoticon

Self esteem game of 10 things to STOP doing
Make a self esteem game out of 10 things to STOP doing to help build your self esteem. Sometimes it's easier to stop doing things in the beginning then it is to start doing something.
1. STOP worrying about what others think of you. It doesn't matter.

2. STOP beating yourself up for little mistakes. Everyone makes them.

3. STOP saying YES when you should be saying NO. You don't have to say YES all the time.

4. STOP criticizing yourself for everything. It's not necessary.

5. STOP putting off exercising. It will change your emotional health.

6. STOP holding yourself back from your dreams. You can see or feel inside you what you should be doing, start doing it today.

7. STOP repeating negative thoughts to yourself. Instead repeat the words, "All I need is within me NOW."

8. STOP making excuses. Excuses will kill your drive and enthusiasm.

9. STOP going over and over and over the past. Live in the present moment.

10. STOP letting people walk all over you. You're not a door mat so stop acting like it. You are worthy of your own opinion.

Thanks for the idea of the web link. I teach a class of students where many student in the class suffer from a lack of self-esteem. I now plan to use the site in my instructions. Great blog!
