Self esteem game of 10 things to STOP doing
Make a self esteem game out of 10 things to STOP doing to help build your self esteem. Sometimes it's easier to stop doing things in the beginning then it is to start doing something.
1. STOP worrying about what others think of you. It doesn't matter.

2. STOP beating yourself up for little mistakes. Everyone makes them.

3. STOP saying YES when you should be saying NO. You don't have to say YES all the time.

4. STOP criticizing yourself for everything. It's not necessary.

5. STOP putting off exercising. It will change your emotional health.

6. STOP holding yourself back from your dreams. You can see or feel inside you what you should be doing, start doing it today.

7. STOP repeating negative thoughts to yourself. Instead repeat the words, "All I need is within me NOW."

8. STOP making excuses. Excuses will kill your drive and enthusiasm.

9. STOP going over and over and over the past. Live in the present moment.

10. STOP letting people walk all over you. You're not a door mat so stop acting like it. You are worthy of your own opinion.

Self esteem lesson plans - Discovery your true self

These self esteem lesson plans will help you explore what self esteem means to you. Help you analyze your personal strengths and weaknesses and help you understand the role self esteem plays in a healthy life.

If your struggling with low self esteem then you are in need of a little self inventory and self discovery. These lesson plans will help you get to know yourself.

1. Define what self esteem means to YOU.

2. List your strengths and your weaknesses.

3. Take a personal inventory to better understand yourself.

4. From that self inventory write a short story that illustrates who you are. Or if you would like draw a picture or use magazine clippings to build a collage.

5. Than answer the following questions. What did I learn about myself? How can I apply this information in my life?

6. Now apply what you have learned about yourself to your life. Understanding that self esteem plays a huge role in your life helps you lead a more positive life.

A new baby

We lost a great grandchild in December. We have a new great grandchild in the hospital--gaining weight so he can come home, he was 3 pounds at birth and is fighting to grow.
We found out last night that we are to have a new great grand child in October.
It is time to celebrate with all our hearts for this new life!!

    Oh honey, we all have days like that....the good news is....they go away and are replaced by even better days! So what is your one fitness goal for today and what is one food goal today? They can be very small. Mine is to continue avoiding sugary coca-cola for another day (I'm on day 11!!! Trying to make it until March 20th without it...then hoping I won't even want it by then! emoticon
