I remember when I could do that. I would spend all day digging through things and then come up with a real treasure that made it all worth while. Erin Report Inappropriate Comment |

I was feeling a bit sad -- feeling I had failed--trying to be "real" then I read an article that made me think!!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
if you spend your time and energy obsessing about your slip-ups, or getting down on yourself:
That kind of useless self-abuse is just a smokescreen you are using to avoid your real responsibilities and opportunities.
It is the polar opposite of honest self-appraisal, no matter how “true” or “real” it might feel to you.
These may seem like harsh words, but getting past this problem is really critical to success.
save yourself a lot of grief, and learn how to keep things in perspective and avoid unnecessary drama.

Amen, I've given up being down on myself. There's enough people who would be glad to do that for me. I rather focus on the positive.

I always take the happy path. It's such a welcome site to see the good in the day rather than dwelling on the bad. Remember each day, the things for which you are grateful. When that red light turns green, just before you put on your brakes, be grateful for it. If you focus on the good, you'll be surprised just how much good there is happening to you. It will change your attitude and you're much more likely to stick with your eating and exercise goals.
