emoticon but there is emoticon & emoticon in my home.

“When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman.”

Granny fun time ---let your life spill over into Thanksgiving

Saturday, November 22, 2008

I was reading a blog by DEMURALIST and the words jumped off the page.
I do study "how to do things"
I learned that schools out and it is time to let my life spill over into Thanksgiving.
I have hid behind learning for fear of living life----WOW------afraid of all the mistakes I may make---I only wanted to learn from others mistakes---others FUN---I am learning to make my own fun and not sit back and watch, Its more fun this way----

The Secret:

"You know your way around the Faith.
Now, do what you've been taught.
School's out;
quit studying the subject
and start LIVING it!

And let your life
spill over
into thanksgiving."
(Col 7-Message)

That is so true. A lot of times, I speak good words but don't always live them. I would like to thank you for the reminder.

Friday a day of play with my grandson

Friday, November 14, 2008

Friday is our day to play. He has the ability to make any situation fun--four is such a great age--the laughter comes up from some where deep inside and bursts into the dreary day. Everything becomes magic again. It doesn't matter what we do it is exciting.

I think we will go to the zoo.

My scales say that I weigh a pound less. emoticon This is getting A little scary--NEW!!!
Success is new--I am going with it--it feels good. emoticon

My dear cousins husband, Jack, passed away yesterday. He could always bring a smile to my lips. I am at loss for words to comfort her. I don't think there are enough words. They were always together -- always with honest, dear friends. He gave the world more than he ever knew. I need to shake this sad feeling so that I can celebrate his life.

God bless you all~~~~~~~~~~~~~MARY

I'm sorry for your loss, but I like your attitude about celebrating life! I know when I go I don't want anyone crying, just dancing and laughing! That is a proper send off!!!! You sound like you have a blast with your grandson! He's lucky to have you! Keep up the good work! Your successes will keep you motivated!

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss; secondly, I am proud of you for losing that one pound, and lastly, yes young children are fun, full of joy and can really bring out the child in us and we play without thinking of it as exercise. WAY TO GO!
