Good for you Mary! I did nothing all day too! Sundays are my days to rest in every sense of the word. I have no children or family here, but I have a cat. And he and I just rest and have fun. Good for you! emoticon

I feel good!!! I lost a half pound.

Friday, November 07, 2008

Wow! I opened my eyes and the cold hit me. Dern! It is soo cold this morning. I feel like I am in Montana! I hope it heats up here soon. I am grateful for Gas Heat--it get hot faster than electric.

It is soo funny to think that as cold as it was I stripped down to weigh--that way I get the real weight.

I am taking the grandsons to the movies after school a new one with animals is starting.

The jeans are just about 5 pounds away--I didn't try the dresses yet--I think it will be about ten pounds away and that is just tooo far ahead to think about ! !

I am off to put one more pretty decoration on my beautiful tree.

THANKS TO YA ALL FOR THE PRAYERS

Thursday, November 06, 2008

I am going to feel much better today because I read your blog.

Attitude of gratitude:

1. I am grateful for my home.
2. I am grateful for my weight loss.
3. I am grateful for my family &friends.
4. I am grateful for my car.
5. I am grateful that I am not as sick as I was.
6. I am grateful for books.
7. I am grateful that I can walk, talk, listen, reason, and can make decisions.
8. I am grateful that I can not stay stuck in an emotion I do not want! ! !
9. I am grateful that I can go out to eat well and not break the bank.
10. I am grateful that I am enough--I must remember at times like these not to fear because it is more than ok to know I am enough and that I have enough.

Today:
I will laugh, smile, take a bubble bath, giggle, walk fast, walk slow, read, laugh tooooo loud, eat well, talk to a child about nothing but fun and how we will have that fun, try on some smaller jeans and that dress to see if it is closer to fitting. I'll bet the next size jeans will fit soon.
I will go to the women's luncheon--I will listen to someone who wants to share --because I learn so much from them. I will pay more attention to those who don't talk, I have learned that they have large hearts.
I have lost some more weight-- I need to enjoy this. When I get this close to being under 200 I seem to freeze-- I should go and talk to a counselor about that and just see what I have to say.
I added four more cute decorations on my little white tree!!! (1 decoration for each 1/2 pound lost) It looks sooo cute--anyone know how to take a picture of it to share on SP?

I am going in to try on those jeans--it has to be close to that size now.

What an absolutely POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!! Now THAT's the attitude that is going to take you places, get you to work your butt off and get your goals met! It is so good to see some people finally realizing that by focussing on the positive you gain more than when you focus on the negatives or worries! GOOD FOR YOU! emoticon

I walked 5 miles today felt good it has been a while since I was able
I also did 20 minutes exercise indoors. I can't shake this down feeling. Maybe it is just that flu hanging on.

I hung 4 ornaments on my little weight loss tree--it is white and looks cute with its little shinny ornaments---fun.

Embrace your down day!!!! Look at all the things you have accomplished in a down day. What do you succeed with on an up day. That sounds scarey!
Sometimes we need to feel low, so that the next day is outta this world!!!
Hang in there!

I'm sorry you are struggling. Emotions are the one thing scientists still don't fully understand. I don't know that we will ever fully understand them. But hang on, if only by the skin of your fingernails. You will make it through with the right supports and if you just give yourself a little push and a little time. Try writing things out in a journal. It's the best confession and confidant that you will ever have! Bless you.

A pound is a big deal!
Celebrate with enthusiasm, you have dropped a pound, which by any weight loss standard is the optimal amount to lose, they do not want you losing more than 2 pounds per week...if we do that then we have a tendencey to put it back on faster.
I am proud of you and your loss!
I think it is awesome and it is time to celebrate that pound being gone!!!
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Keep doing what you are doing, because when you add them together you end up with an awesome total which will get you to your goal!
