I should have been in the Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

I did a Zumba dvd for the first time today. And apparently, I have THREE left feet! I guess the extras have always been there. I just never noticed them when doing Irish stepdancing. Practice practice practice. emoticon

Yeah, I don't see myself doing Zumba, either - for the exact same reason.....

That must come from your German side. I'm having those as well, and then some. I don't even dare trying Zumba.

Just shake your hips. That's what really counts in Zumba, right?

Me too! Maybe it is a German thing, cuz I know the Irish can do the jig.

WOW that was liberating!

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

I spent a few hours yesterday going through my closets. I got rid of two 55 gallon size trash bags full of clothes that no longer fit. When I put everything back, I took the time to organize by size(I have them all). So next time I purge, it will be faster. I took the bags straight to the Goodwill...never going back to a large or extra large ever again! emoticon My DD was glad to see the "mom jeans" go. I can now fit into what she calls my "cool jeans". Thank you SP! emoticon And my cool offspring thanks you too!

Happy Mother's Day!

Sunday, May 08, 2011

My DH got me a new bike. emoticonThe correct size and color and everything! WooHoo! I really needed a new bike. I have made-do with a bike that was really too big for me for a long time. I won it at a Cincinnati Reds game when I was in high school. Wow, that was a long time ago! Now if it would stop raining so I can ride, that would be fabulous! emoticon

Run for the Roses!

Saturday, May 07, 2011

Today this filly did a 5k Run/walk for the Roses. emoticon I beat my previous time by 1 second. It was raining...as usual. emoticon If I am going to jog in the rain, I think I need better clothes to wear. I think I am starting to get a head cold too. Stopping to spit is so unlady-like. lol

Is it too early for a Mint Julep? emoticon It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? emoticon

emoticon good job! Look for clothes with the "dri-fit" label. You'll still get wet but it is supposed to keep your skin dry. What is actually in a mint julip anyway?
