Way to much stress going on in my life causing a backslide. Not a bad one but enough to cause me more grief. Kids - say no more!!!
Going for my walk shortly to try and get back on track.

Have been of course for about 2 weeks but getting back on track now, Yet again I am realising that I must log my food to stay on the road to to weight loss. Accountability!!!!

I need to get more self control and avoid the sabotaging efforts of fellow workmates. I was so good until a fellow workmate returned from leave and very subtle gestures (leaving here excess lollies around for me to eat)
Must try and find someway to avoid falling into that trap again.

    I get the same thing at work. They bring in cake, doughnuts, etc.

    Those are tough times my co workers will bring in donuts or mexican sweet bread or almost anything sweet. Most days I can go to my desk and eat an apple or orange. It is not easy but feel better when I avoid the high calorie snacks and stay with the fruit.

    You CAN do it! Like you, I love food too; in fact it isn't emotional eating with me - I just LOVE to eat! Food is almost a hobby for me. I've struggled for three years to lose 18 lbs thus far. I have 11 lbs to go. That is taking much too long but I just keep telling myself that if I weren't trying I would weigh a lot more by now since I was steadily gaining. I go to TOPS and Weight Watchers, and I'm also on Sparkpeople every day. They are all good organizations and I'm shocked at how much support I have needed to get to this point. For us foodies (and my thyroid is low-normal), it may just take a bit longer. It doesn't help that every thing I enjoy is sedentary. I'm trying to get into exercise mode and will be walking more now that it is spring! Yes, it really is spring! Pick up the pace! You will be successful! emoticon

Have realised that planning is the key. When I plan my exercise and food programs I am good but those days/weeks I don't - oh boy it is hard.
Knowledge is progress.
