I am so glad that this is the first day of our 5% Challenge.
Before our challenge starts, we have pre assingment questions.
One of the questions was what diet plan will you be following?
We were also suppose to be looking at our pantry and get rid of bad stuff.
This made me think of personal inventory(burdens).
You need to think about both your mental and physical self....
Do you have trouble forgiving others or yourself?
Do you have trouble with patience? Do you need to be a better person????
I have a trouble with negative thinking and forving myself when I mess up.
I keep getting onto myself bad when I fall off my diet.
So, I believe that taking my inventory and incorporating positive self talk will help myself. (And maybe my Cats and other Spark Friends).
I know that we all need support and encouragement.....
I am going to go for now. Have a great day/ Night Guys!!!!!! Holly
I went to go visit my family in Florida today.
When I was there I did a few different walking techniques.
I walked backwards up the ramp of my grandmother's house
and walked around the neighborhood. Which gave me a change of scenery.
I also chased my sort of cousin around the house and played hide-in-seek.
I am attaching some pictures so you can see us playing.
Enjoyed this challenge but really tired at present.
Will be going to bed early tonight. Have a good one! Holly
I am doing fine with the WRC Market. I like working up there.
I am stocking three days a week. I take my lunch and try to stay away from the junk food. Lost 2.4 pounds already. Yahoo, to the good eating and water drinking.
However, I know that I have to stay on top of my game. So, I rejoined the
5% Summer Challenge. I do believe that it will help me to stay in shape.
Not only for myself, but also for the boss and the people up there at work.
I look forward getting to know everyone on the Cats Team. I am here for you.
I am so thankful to have such wonder Spark Friends (both inside and out side of the challenge). I hope that you all have a great weekend!
It is Memorial Day once again. It is a day to not only BBQ or spend time with family and friends, but it is also a time to remember to thank our troops.
Thank all of them, from WWI all the way up to the present War. And don't forget to thank the families as well. Some of their loved ones didn't come home. So, please remember to have a quiet time/prayer for the ones that lost their lives. (And also for those who are still serving in the military today). From me and my family.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!
Have a safe, blessed, and Happy Memorial Day.
Your friend in Weight Loss, Holly
I read a spark article that was interesting.
It was about how you challenge yourself.
Do you do different exercises? Or say different things to help weight loss.
The writer talked about doing wall squats for sixty seconds each day.
I was thinking of something that I can do. What would benefit me.
The answer would be squats would really benefit me.
I have bad balance and really do need to start working on it.
So, I think I will do sixty second squats every morning when I get up.
That should help me get may balance situated and give me a challenge to do.
Do you have a specific goal in mind? Something you want to share or want me to partipate with you? Feel free to post it here.
Hope that you are all doing well. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!!!!
