2/27/14 – Day 12 & my last day, since I only have enough protein powder for one more smoothie. The scale read 149 this morning again, so I’m going to claim 4 pounds lost. I may try to stick with this plan 5 days a week and relax it on the weekends…two weeks is a long time, for me, to follow a plan this strict, but I did see results.
Woke up at 7:30 – Green tea
8:30 – Breakfast smoothie
10:30 – Cucumber with Hummus & walnuts
12:30 – Lunch – Spinach & Arugula Salad with Salmon
6:20 – Two Applegate Hot Dogs with mustard ~ I ran out of chicken…and willpower ~ Ha Ha!
8:00 – Walnuts
I'm glad I'm finished with it...Looking forward to a cup of coffee with half & half.

2/26/14 – Day 11
This is Day 7 with the elimination of dairy and I haven’t noticed any great improvement in my joint/muscle pain since I quit dairy…maybe a little, but not enough to justify living without it. I'm actually glad to discover that. :)
Woke up at 7:00 and had a cup of green tea
8:00 – Breakfast smoothie with blueberries
Green & Hibiscus Rosehip Tea.
10:30 – Lunch – Butternut squash & Cod
2:00 – 2nd Lunch (Ha Ha) Spaghetti squash with ground beef…Yeah, I just couldn’t face fish or chicken again.
6:15 – Dinner – Salmon, Cucumbers with squash hummus, black olives
Got busy and missed my 8:00pm snack, so I hope I make it till bedtime. I’m pretty full feeling, I think I ate a lot today and the beef (cheat) at lunch kept me full feeling.

2/25/14 – Day 10
I caved last night and had a glass of wine with a few zucchini slices, squash hummus, and black olives at 11:00pm. This morning I woke up STARVING!
I’m only going to try to stick with it through day 12, because I only have enough protein powder for 2 more breakfast smoothies (after today) and I’m not buying any more of this Rice Protein powder. The scale is showing 150 again this morning…I feel like this is a lot of suffering for 3 little pounds. I think all the amazing results on this diet come from people who eat doughnuts and coke for breakfast and cheeseburger & fries for lunches ~ Ha Ha! I eat a very clean diet, rarely any sugar or flour products, so I guess I can’t expect to see as much weight loss as others. Still, considering the amount of deprivation I felt, I wish I was seeing better results. It’s also more difficult, when you have digestion issues that limit the foods you can tolerate, I’m really tired of squash & chicken.
7:45 – Breakfast Smoothie with blueberries
12:30 – Side salad and grilled shrimp ~ This was lunch out with friends and I really struggled to stay on track. Everyone was eating burgers or ribs with fries, but I feel like I’m almost at the end, and I want to see better results, so I’m trying to hang in there.
4:45 – Spinach & Arugula salad with Salmon & green tea
6:45 – Cucumber slices with Squash hummus and tea
8:00 – Walnuts

2/24/14 – Day 9
Woke up at 6:30 – Had a cup of Green tea
8:00 - Breakfast smoothie with blueberries
11:24 – Lunch – Spinach salad with chicken, mushroom & pine nuts
3:00 – Snack – Black Olives and Squash Hummus
5:00 – Dinner – Chicken, Broccoli, Butternut Squash
6:00 – Black coffee & a piece of Fake Fudge…I just had to have something that felt a little indulgent!
7:00 – Snack – Chicken, Squash, & Walnuts. I could eat a horse today…wrapped in Bacon ~ LOL!
I’m really getting bored with the choices on this diet, and I miss eggs. I have a luncheon tomorrow, I’ve looked over the menu and can’t find anything that looks like it will keep me on track with this. We’ll see what I come up with when I get there. I’m thinking anything less than the usual homemade potato chips, quesadilla and beer will be a win for me.

2/23/14 Day 8 – Today was my official one week weigh in & the scale is showing 105.5, 1.5 higher than yesterday! Anyway, that’s what I’m going to record….so, 2.5 pounds off the first week.
Woke up at 6:00 and had green tea
8:00 - Breakfast smoothie with blackberries
12:00 – Lunch – Salmon with butternut squash
Made another batch of Almond Milk & ground more flax seeds today. I mixed the almond pulp, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil and stevia and chilled it to harden…it’s sort of my guilt free fudge. I cheated & had a small square of it after dinner.
5:15 – Dinner – Teriyaki Chicken, spaghetti squash, steamed broccoli
8:00 - Walnuts & Tea
