June 04,2012 Correct Times to Drink Water, answered by a CARDIACT SPECIALIST

Monday, June 04, 2012

I thought this was important enough to pass on:

2 glasses when water up- this helps to activate internal organs

1 glass 30 minutes before each meal- helps with digestion

1 glass before a bath-helps to lower blood pressure (this was new to me)

1 glass before bed- helps to avoid stroke or heart attack (this was new to me, also)

Good info sharing...I agree and have read similar notes in different bits of research lately - especially the last one about value of drinking water just before bed - also good for kidney and bladder infection problems. I take a pint of water to bathroom every night now and drink half just before going to bed and the other half when I am up to the potty in the middle of the night to get rid of the first one!!!

Great info, thanks! But the one before bed would have me up too (having to go pee)... I like my sleep, hee hee. We'll try it though (wink)

Interesting. The only problem with the glass of water before bed time is that it would probably prevent me from sleeping through the night. :-)

Seeds for Homeless, or in NEED IDEA! Can you help?

Monday, April 09, 2012

I was struck with a wonderful thought this morning. I was thinking about going out and clearing some more debris out of my garden area, so I can put seeds in it to grow. I was thinking this will benefit me and maybe some family members, it's not a large area.

There are people in need all over, who may be living in the woods, or under a bridge or with other people who may have a yard. These people usually walk around during the day, looking for aluminum cans and other things to help out during hard times.

Zip Lock bags with seeds for different kinds of food in them, can help so many people, take care themselves a little better. Maybe add little garden tools or an old fork and spoon, they could dig little holes with. Even a kind note encouraging them to plant the seeds (don't give your personal location or phone number, in these notes) unless you are a very trusting person, and really want them to know who it came from. Even a printed out page about safe food from foliage that may be around them, would help. Even the 800 number for job & family service in the area, or a soup kitchen address or food pantry address might help. Some people have never been in this destitute way, before.

People usually know where these people go, or recognize who they are, pass them a bag/leave near by. parks, woods wherever you can think of

Thank You if this is something you can do and will do.
Hugs
Linda

Grin!

Friday, March 16, 2012

Just rec'd. this in an e-mail:

WOMEN LOCK YOUR DOORS!

of course I had to check this out, knew the person well.

Here goes:

THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM!!

MESSAGE
You've no doubt heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.

My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine?

I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs.

Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans.
And then the thieves struck again……

My butt was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I'd have to give up my jeans in favor of long skirts.

Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was really getting scary - my body was being replaced one section at a time. What could they do to me next?

When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided to tell my story. Women of the world wake up and smell the coffee! Those 'plastic' surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts - stolen from you and Me! The next time someone you know has something 'lifted',
Look again - was it lifted from you?

THIS IS NOT A HOAX - This is happening to women everywhere every night.

WARN YOUR FRIENDS!

P. S. Last year I thought someone had stolen my Boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone!
But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.

I thought this was too 'important' not to pass on. Have a wonderful day - with a joy filled heart.
Always remember to Laugh!!
Helps the heart AND the wrinkles!!

P.P.S. Those same thieves just came into my closet and shrank my clothes!

How do they do that????

I will invite her to Sparks, again.
