POWER ENERGY BAR

2 CUPS OF PITTED DATES (CHOPPED)
1 CUP OF HEMP SEEDS
1/2 CUP OF pumpkin SEEDS
1/4 CUP OF GROUND FLAX SEED
1/2 CUP OF SUNFLOWER SEEDS

PLACE DATES INTO FOOD PROCESSOR AND PROCESS, THEN ADD SEEDS, ONE AT A TIME AND CONTINUE TO PROCESS,
ADD:
2 TABLESPOONS, OF WATER, PROCESS AGAIN.

LINE SQUARE CONTAINER (ANY SHAPE WILL WORK) WITH PLASTIC WRAP
EMPTY CONTENTS, INTO CONTAINER, AND FLATTEN OUT, REFRIGERATE 30 MINUTES, REMOVE, FLIP OUT, AND SLICE INTO 20-25 PIECE.

Or, you may choose to make balls, about 3/4 to 1" in diameter.

These may be wrapped, or contained and refrigerated or you may freeze.

Other dried fruits, may be substituted for the dates (apricots, figs, raisins, prunes cranberries, could also combine several choices according to your preference)

Also, would like to suggest, putting juice of 1/2 lemon in warm water and drinking each morning. It is beneficial, for good digestion, and helps with elimination.

Also, try when eating a snack, to have a bit of protein with what you choose to have
Like apples or celery with peanut butter, or another nut butter, will help to keep the hunger away.

Spark and Balance

I find at times, I am at the computer, for too many hours, in a day and I need to get a balance, so I can do what, I need to do to focus on Life, in itself.

So, today I decided, I will get on first thing in the morning, and give myself an hour on Sparks.

I will come on again at 2 PM and give myself and my team, at least 1 hour.

I will come back again around 11PM, and see if there are questions, to answer, encouragement to offer, doing what I didn't do for myself during the other times.

I am totally committed, to the challenge, and to the team.

My Plans to achieve my goal during Winter 1 5% weight loss chal.

I am on the Blood Type Diet, I have recently been critiqued, making it a personalized diet, to me, by having SWAMI.

I will apply what I learn from this, I will eat my diamond and super beneficial foods, to achieve greatest weight lost and health benefits to my body.

I will drink at least 8-10 cups of water a day

I will eat 3-5 oz of red meat 5 times a week
I will eat 3-5 oz of poultry 2 times a week
I will eat 3-5 oz of fish 4 times a week
I will eat 1 chicken egg 7 times a week
I will eat 1/2 teaspoon ghee3 times a week
I will eat vegetable protein 5 times a week
I will eat 1 Tbls olive oil 2 times a week
I will eat 2 carbohydrates each day
I will eat 5 cups of Live Food each day
I will eat 2 fruit servings each day
I will eat 2 tsp. spices each day
I will drink 3 cups SF bev. each day
I will eat 0-1 teas. condiments each day

I will learn about my genoharmonic foods, during this time, and apply when I understand how to use them.

I will exercise at least 30 minutes a day.
I will participate wholehearted into each challenge.
I will post my weight, each week.
I will try hard, to keep the foods and beverages, on hand that I need to do this.
I will try one new recipe every other week.

I will lose weight
Onward & Downward
I will enjoy each day to the fullest

Well the ground hog seen his shadow, today. Hopefully, we will have spring, sooner then expected. Need the sunshine, to brighten the moods, of people, and need the snow to melt, so people, can get around, again.

I'm ready to go to Red Lobster, with my brother, come to think of it I will check the menu first, so I make a healthy choice, then on to Walmart, to get, what we need to get. Hope the weather permits, him to get out to his truck and over to where, I live. He has to be careful walking on the ice, so I worry about him. So, I will be patient, and wait until he feels safe, to do it.

Hope everyone, is doing good, Hope you had a chance to look over the Challenge Results, that was posted today.

So glad people are exercising blogging and tracking and posting it here, and remember, you can also, weigh in, on Saturday and post , if you want to. Knowing is Good. Then we know what we need to do.

    Here is one for you.. "If the groundhog doesn't show up for Groundhog Day, that means the weather is going to get really bad, right? We'll find out because the Milwaukee County Zoo has canceled its annual Groundhog Day ceremony set for Wednesday because of the expected blizzard. The zoo's resident groundhog, Wynter, will watch the weather from indoors like most of the rest of us."

It's Tuesday, and I have a lot on my Mind!

I'm staying focused, on what I have to do here, but I am dealing, with family issues, that has me in deep thought, with no apparent release.

Within the last week, emotions are in full gear, because, I cannot change, anything that is happening. I have to wait and see what is going to happen. Financial crisis, for a brother, heartbreak, of a daughter, grand children lives being changed, Son, needing to find a new place to live, soon unexpectedly. Just too much, all at once. So the only thing, I can do is ask for prayers, for everyone, concerned and for the ability to be able to help in whatever way I could, when the time comes.
