Stay FOCUSED, on the overall results, pounds lost, inches lost, better attitude, better disposition, more energy, better numbers when tested by labs, and knowing we are Eating to Live.
DETERMINATION- know we are going to do this, do everything in our power to make it happen, do what we need to, to get the results, we desire, and continue forever.
POSTING- Here on Sparks Posting is so important, tracking our food, tracking our exercise, changing our spark page every now and again, as the mood strikes, posting to other spark pages, offer hope, encouragement and acknowledging accomplishments. Also, posting to challenges, discussions, and writing blogs, it all helps both others and ourselves.
I see I just combined Posting and Tracking together, and yes they go hand in hand, and together, is the way we do this, whether it is here or in person. Everyone needs someone, sometime.

My mind is working, ahead of what I am doing now and this is so important. I think, I'm going to have this for my next meal, then my mind is questioning me. Is this a healthy choice? If yes, I usually, go and have it, but if it's no, I question it, why not? What should I have, that will give me the taste or texture, I want? Ideas, are running through my mind, and I am making choices.
This is such a good feeling, I know it's working, I know it will take time. I know I will continue with these challenges, because, they are working, for me. I feel good most of the time. If my mood isn't quite where, I want it to be, I'm not using food to change my mood, or if I do I pick a healthy, food, like a piece of fruit, or a few pumpkin seeds, to get me through the mood, and it's working.
Each step we take, each thing we find out that is working, for us, we need to remember, and to it again, and again. not let it go. When the scale isn't moving as fast as we want it to, we need to check out, what were doing or what needs adjusted. Are the calories, to high or are they to low? Are signals being sent to my brain that I am starving myself, thus creating more glucose, which is causing me to crave food, or sweets, when it is not really needed. Also, giving a diabetic, a false high, which needs to be lowered, with either protein, nuts, seeds, oils, or/and medication. Another question we need to ask ourself, are we drinking enough WATER. Yes, I am finding WATER, is the most important beverage we can drink, and I try to get the water in, before other beverages, but also trying not to drink as pop soda or diet soda, as it is dehydrating me. This is so hard to understand. and Diet Pop, causes ones body to crave sweets, later. Pay close attention, you will find this out too.

Just putting my thoughts together, I have learned so much, I feel this is where I need to be, to reach my goal.
1. I will spark daily
2. I will track food
3. I will exercise, to the best of my ability.
4. I will blog, often, striving for twice a week!
5. I will make comments on other people's blogs and participate in discussion.
6. I will claim the weight I am at, on my way down.
7. Learn, stay focused, and plan for maintenance!

I was reflecting on what I accomplished, during the pass year, and was going to wait until after weigh in, to post about it, but I just received a phone call and have to share with you what happened, and why I feel great!
This lady came to my home, yesterday, to get paper work done, to see what was going to happen, as far as financial needs and care needs. We had a good conversation and she left, to take care of it, and contact her boss and she was going to let me know of the outcome, within a week or two.
I was surprised to get a phone call, but she said she had a couple of questions and one was what my weight was, when I answered her she said" that is why I called, I read what was already on your chart and I said to myself, "No way that has to be a mistake, well it wasn't and I was below that weight also" She said she thought I only weighed 220, and said I held my weight well. This made me feel, so good, as I can't see it, that way.
Lately, I have been wondering, If I'm really seeing a difference, but then at other times I would say No, look how big your stomach is, when your sitting, but I was sitting, when she was talking to me. So I have to say I am feeling this and it feels so good!
Just thought I would share!

mom's chose, to give us life. We get to choose, to make it the best, we can make it. Let's
