Was expecting a fun filled WARM Memorial Weekend. Many people arrived to Geneva-on-the Lake, dressed and packed for 70 degree weather. Plenty of alcohol flowing freely, lot of laughter and present greetings exchanged. Within a few hours yesterday, everyone had jackets, sweatshirts, and hoodies Soon the cold was forgotten and the band played through the evening.
Enjoyed walking through the strip for a look through the shops, at new inventory that came in this year and even a few new shops opened. It was a pleasure to see, all.
Thankful, for the ability to be able to get out and see all close by, hopefully by summers end, I will have walked the whole strip and back. That is my goal, I made myself. I will do this!

This weekend is suppose to be beautiful weather, in Ohio. This is nice to hear, this morning!
I have enjoyed the last couple of days more then usual. Family has been busy, but this week enjoyed time with my grand daughter one day, talking on the phone with my grandson, and seeing my one daughter, who took a half day off vacation day and spend it with me. Also, will be seeing my other daughter and my youngest grand daughter sometime Sunday. Even talked with my older brother a bit yesterday and today. Every day I spend time with my youngest son, who has been spending a lot of time at his new business ( and his niece spend yesterday with him and his nephew spend some time there)(today my grand daughter & her boyfriend will be there with him) so this is just great!
I made some healthy treats this morning and plan on making more things ahead, so they are ready when desired.
Another great smoothie for later- black berries, spinach, flaxseed, cinnamon and water & ice. I will make it later in the day.

I can improve upon stress level, when concerned about family members. I tend to worry, when I don't hear from someone. I should remember, No News is Good News!
I should also remember to just pick up the phone and call them.
I should also remember to get out and stay busy talking to people, and than I won't be worried, that something is wrong.
Usually they are just busy with their own lives, Grandma's need to realize this, lol.
Strategy Exercise early, drink water or dandelion tea in early morning to hydrate. Enjoy a smoothie, today was 1 avocado,6 oz blueberries, 1 T flaxseed ground, 1 T peanut butter and 1 teaspoon ginger,12 oz mango juice +6 ice cubes, made in blender.
Lunch will be mixed salad w/spinach and canned salmon, in the middle with balsamic dressing. I can improve upon this by not adding miracle whip to salmon, instead add no fat greek yogurt, or balsamic dressing depending on what I have available. (another improvement, make sure I have what I need so that may mean I need to plan a menu)
