Without labor nothing prospers. ~Sophocles

Yes, I'm tooting my own horn today. I am so proud of my accomplishments this week, I did the 30DS workout every day but one this past week. I made it to yoga class emoticon 4 out of the last 7 days AND I lost 2 pounds and 1% of body fat this week! emoticon

I have to say my biggest challenge was eating. The nutrionist told me I am allergic to casien, a protein found in milk and eggs. After spending an hour in stop&shop I have to tell you, milk and eggs are in EVERYTHING! emoticon
But I am learning, the nutrionist has given me alot of ideas so I know I can handle this too.

Another thing to toot my horn about today, I quit smoking again. emoticon So far so good but its only been a few hours. I know that I can make this quit successful. emoticon

Wow! You are doing great! emoticon emoticon

You are right, they do put milk and eggs in a lot of foods. Have you tried blue diamond almond milk? I started drinking it because I had so many people tell me how good it is. I really do like it. I also have regular organic milk in my fridge, but I think it will spoil because I have been choosing the almond milk instead! lol

Good for you giving up smoking! You can do this!!

Seventy percent of success in life is showing up. ~Woody Allen

Today was the first day of my 30 day challenge and 20 pounds in 10 weeks weight lose plan.
Even though I forgot to set my alarm clock this morning emoticon, I managed to get up and complete day one of the Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. emoticon
I ate good, low carbs high protein!! emoticon
I am really motivated to complete these goals, along with quitting smoking on the 6th. emoticon
After meeting with my nutrionist on Saturday and learning that I am allergic to Casein ( a protein found in dairy products) I am so happy to finally have an answer to the digestive problems I've been having for the past 2 years. emoticon
Hopefully with the new nutrition plan, no smoking and increased exercise plan I will be feeling great in no time! emoticon

It is never too late to be who you might have been. ~George Eliot

As long as there is breath in your lungs and life in your body there is always a chance for changing for the better.
Make the most of every day, not only physically but mentally. Make someone else smile, it does wonders for them and you.
Be the best you possible today. emoticon

We have produced a world of contented bodies and discontented minds. ~Adam Clayton Powell
I ran across this quote today and it made me stop and think. What does it really mean to be content, are we so busy with satisfying the body that we are starving our minds?
So today I focused on gaining more knowledge and being more aware of things around me.

It was a beautiful late summer day where I live so I spent the afternoon outside and caught this butterfly doing natures work.

Phew! So happy this week is over and for the first time in a long while I don't have to do any "catch up" work on the weekend! emoticon
The week did kind of get away from me though as far as working out went, I started off strong but kind of faded as the week went on. The motivation is still there but finding the time was an issue. Better time management is in order. emoticon
The goal to quit smoking is still set for Sept 6th, I will be talking in depth with my nutritionist about it tomorrow to ensure that I won't put on another 15 pounds like I did last time. emoticon
Goals for this weekend is to not stray too far from the diet plan, go to yoga class and continue doing the 30 day shred workouts. WOA! That last one is tough but soooo worth it emoticon
Hope all of my wonderful emoticon have a great weekend!
