Hi, guys! Sorry that I've been away for a while. I've been in school. Although I've been taking classes online, it is tough. I am doing great with it though. This is my third semester. I took summer off. I am doing great with my weight loss too!. As you can see by my ticker, I have lost an amazing 47 lbs!. I am getting compliments left and right. That is motivating me to continue. I am fitting into clothes I have never worn before. I just bought them in hopes of getting into them. Some are too big now. I have a problem, but it is a good problem. I have to give away the clothes I like now. I've only worn some a few times, because they are getting too big. I now need to buy clothes that fit and look decent on me. Everyone tells me I am just glowing. I have been walking on 2 of my 15 minute breaks at work 5 days a week. I also walk 2-3 times a week at the local track after work. I do strength training at home 2-3 times a week as well. I watch the portions I eat and try to drink water in the morning and in the evening; also throughout the day. You don't need a special diet, unless you want to. I am diabetic. When I recently had my annual physical, my doctor took me off 1 of my diabetes meds. He was so proud of me that he said he may want me to speak to his diabetes class. I told him I would be glad to. This is the first time in years I have felt so good about the way I look. I want it bad enough this time and I am determined to reach my goal. I now have a nickname. "Skinny." I have a long way to go, but I have come a long way. If I can do it, anyone can.
