Well, I am 2.5 weeks away from my first half-marathon. I ran 9 miles two weeks ago and I have 11-12 miles scheduled for tomorrow. This will be my last long run before race day. I ran 3 miles in my race outfit, a SparkleTech Skirt (love it - see link) and a black Nike tank top. About mile two, my underarms starting burning like the Devil. I have worn my tank top to run before but it was cooler weather. It was really hot & humid yesterday so maybe chafing is worse when you are sweating more. Donít know if was my bat flaps or the tank top but I will be wearing a short sleeve shirt to run in on race day!
Itís not officially weigh-in day but I saw 168.4 this morning! That is 33.2 pounds down and 2.6 since weigh-in Monday. I started P90X ďLeanĒ last week so I donít know if it is the added P90X or just a different routine, but Iím happy with the results so far! Core Synergistics scheduled for today after my 7 year oldís ball game.
