Self Discipline

I am really grateful for sparkpeople, even though I do not sign in regularly, due to my busy schedules, I am daily practicing self-discipline of eight glasses of water, exercise three times per week and five portion of fruits and vegetables.

It took me a while to get there, exactly one year and two months, but I am on the road to Healthy living, it is a change lifestyle. What helps alot, is prayers to God and talking to my body to be discipline.

So thanks to sparkpeople for this major breakthrough in my life, I am on the road to recovery.

  


Taking one day at a time

I had fallen, but now I am back and taking one day at a time, by having eight glasses of water, five servings of vegetables, and exercising daily in small amounts. I am determine to practice a healthy lifestyle and reach my goal of losing weight. I believe I had it the other way around by trying to loose weight and then live healthy.

I "fall" often, but I always get back on track as soon as I can. If I can do that, so can you! emoticon

Lifestyle Change

At times I want to give up on counting calories, and eat what ever I desire, but I am learning to bring myself under control all because of sparkpeople, each time I feel like eating the cookies, icecream and chocolates, I remember all the helpful hints and articles by sparkpeople, I am on my way to a lifestyle change, however it takes discipline and denial to fhe many tempting foods. Last night I went to my friend's surprise Birthday party, there were lots of delicious food to be eaten, but because I am counting calories I was able to resist overeating. I had a small portion of potein and salad.

Discipline

It really takes discipline in order to obtain your goal of weight loss. Counting the calories can be so demanding, especially when you are tempted with high calory foods such as cakes, cookies and ice cream.
However, I am taking one day at a time, and disciplining my body to obey my mind and resist the temptations and do what is right to reach my goal.
