9/7/09 DH saw a trailer go thru & yelled for me. He said there's a trailer thing going thru the light is it any1 important. When it went thru , past the house I saw it had a guitar on it, SO IT HAD TO BE SOME 1 IMPORTANT, & I saw the name DeWayne Spaw & the words Money Guns and the Bible.
I never heard tell of him so I googled him, found out he's a country singer & listened to some of his songs, & found out he was singing in Paden City for the Labor Day celebration, & it was FREE!!!
We had a grr8 time! 'one-a-chord was featured first & they too were grrr8 singers. They do 'Classical Doo Wop', in other words... OLDIES! Yea! if I'm not listening to the 70's, Classical Country, Classical Rock, or Today's Country then it's the Oldies.
DeWayne sang 'If you're going thru Hell', 1 of my favorite songs, as well as songs from Buck Owens, Dwight Yokum, & several others.
He was talking about his 1st concert, if only he knew, he was my 1st concert!!! I'll diffenitely be there next year! I got their autographs this year, next year it'll be a pic taken with them! Ohhh, yeah I cam corded the shows, too.
1 last thing, DeWayne sings the song 'I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry' written & sang by Hank Williams. It is on his web page. When you hear it, it's like Hank stepped outta the grave & into you living room. When I heard it, it was as if it went straight to my soul
