How I did on June's Goals ^_^
1. Organise my kitchen so I have one less excuse to eat out
still working on it, not quite done yet
2. Eat out less often - I have set some goals on the other goals page so I can track when I eat at home.
I am definitely making improvements on this one but I still have some work to do this month
3. Take lunch to work every day
doing really well on this one, if I don't take lunch then I get a pita filled with veggies from down the street.
4. Track EVERYTHING I eat no matter how bad a day I have
I tracked almost everything in June, so not bad at all ^_^
5. Start eating breakfast at home
this one is more challenging than lunch for me though I am making improvements
6. Keep my gym bag packed and in my car
have done this, and I have gone to the gym a few times when I would not have otherwise
7. Exercise 240 minutes per week
doing great so far, I have gone over 240 minutes every week ^_^
8. Start getting up early to go swimming at least 1 time per week
not at all lol, getting up early is a real challenge for me. I always stay up too late reading and then I need the sleep lol
9. Blog/Vlog at least 2 times per week
10. Keep my team goals tracked and up to date.
I have done this for the most part, I tend to track and update on Mondays, and some team challenges I choose not to participate in.

I am getting ready to head to the cottage. I won't have internet access for 4 days so I won't be on Spark. I have a few team challenges going on and so I will keep track the old fashioned way ^_^ with paper and a pencil. I will update everything on monday.

Ok, so the date never happened. but it's ok, I`m sure we`ll reschedule when I get back from the cottage. also the awesome cupcakes aren`t going to happen. I thought I`d be able to get them done, but I ran out of time. Im either making cupcakes and keeping them simple after i get there, or Ill buy something. I know she wont mind. She`ll just be happy to be at the cottage with us. Now I need to be getting to bed as I have to get up early for work and then I have a long drive to the cottage.

I already got questioned about my weekend so here is an update ^_^
First of all, I want to thank everyone for the support and advice for my first ever date on saturday. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well so it was postponed to tomorrow night. We were going to see a movie but now we're just doing dinner because I have other things to do to get ready to go to the cottage wednesday night. So I had a nice relaxing day on saturday, didn't eat a whole lot lol, and then yesterday I went to my parents for dinner because my mom's birthday was last week. They ordered Chinese, which I went easy on to not upset my stomach, and we had a fruit dessert. Can't remember what it was called but it was so good. It was like a big tart, tart dough for the crust, filled with custard creme and topped with a big mound of fresh berries. It had blueberries and blackberries and raspberries and it was sooo good. Can't imagine it was too light on calories but I'm sure we could've done much worse lol.
This week is Canada Day! It's on thursday so we don't actually get a long weekend but everyone in the office is taking friday off so we get a super long weekend ^_^ I'm leaving wednesday after work to go to my parents new cottage. I'm so excited because I've only been able to go once so far becasue I usually work weekends at my second job and I had a saturday class too. The class is over now and I'll only be working every 3rd weekend so I get to go again. Last time I went was the May long weekend and the water was still too cold for swimming. I will be swimming a lot this weekend lol, I'll try to keep an apporximate time so I can track when I get back on Sunday night. I'll be writing down my food as well to enter when I get back. There isn't internet there, or even cell reception so I won't be on SP for 4 days.
I have a lot to do before we go though lol, it's a friends birthday so I'm making her cupcakes. That's what she requested lol, cakes are my specialty ^_^ I'll be making flower cupcakes and before i go I have to bake the cupcakes and make the icing and make all the fondant decorations. I'll be making about 10-15 petals for each cupcake, and they're all seperate pieces lol. I will definitely get a picture to post afterwards. I didn't get a picture of the last cake I made, the red velvet one, because my camera battery died. This time I'll be puitting more work into it though so I'm taking extra batteries ^_^
I'm also going to go buy one of those beach cover up things, because I plan on being in my bathing suit most of the weekend lol, and I need to pick up some more sunblock. I have very sensitive skin. Last time I went, I got a bad sunburn in about an hour, with sunblock on, and then I had an allergic reaction to a new kind of sunblock, on top of my burn from the previous day. So I'm going to get some expensive stuff for sensitive skin and what not. I actually still have a bit of color from last time, so hopefully that will help but I'm not taking any chances this time ^_^ I'm gonna go prepared so I can enjoy the whole weekend!

Ok so I had poptarts for breakfast again. But seriously, that's better than eating out and at least now I'm getting in the habit of eating at home. That was my goal this month anyway, and starting in July, I will be working on improving what I'am eating, then after I've got that I'll work on portion control. I've always failed in the past so this time I'm going REALLY slowly. One little tiny thing at a time. So far I'm donig not bad, eating at home is still a challenge for me, but I've still another week, and I've been doing much better. I've only eaten fast food once this week, granted I'm still too much of the wrong things, but it's gotta be better than McDonald's so I still consider this month a success so far. I just hope I can keep it up when I start working on better food choices at home.
Also the reason why I'm working on what I eat before portion sizes is because the right portion on bad foods is really small lol, so when I start eating better things, I'll already be eating better portions. Also, that way I won't be hungry all the time because I'll be eating healthful, nutritious foods when I do start cutting down portions.
For the swimming part of my challenge, I might not be going tonight, I'm tired from being out late last dancing ^_^ I will be going tomorrow morning though, whether I go tonight or not, and maybe on Sunday too, my weekend is looking pretty free, other than tomorrow night, which is still terrifying lol.
