I woke up feeling pretty good because yesterday I did so well with my eating. I met the minimum for all the things I'm tracking and I only went over for iron, potassium and fiber which I'm usually under for so it was really good. Unfotunately, I went to rent some wii games today, and at the movie store they had twizzlers on 2 for $5. The big bags though, and I love twizzlers stuff so I got a bag of nibs and the pull and peel things. I ate the whole bag of nibs but didn't touch the other. I was good at breakfast though and then not too bad at dinner so it definitely could have been worse. I know I could've eaten the other bag of candy. I actually didn't go over for my calories, but my choices need to be better so that I can get all the nutrients I need. Like I went over for calories but under for fat, and I'm sure I'm under for a lot of things I'm not keeping track of. Anyway, I'm gonna give the other bag of candy to my sister when I see her on sunday so that I won't eat it.
Anyway, other than the candy, I had a nice relaxing day. I rented a couple wii games and just relaxed on the couch playing. Tomorrow though, I'm going to the gym and baking a cake, a nice big one ^_^ it's for my cousin's baby shower. I'll post some pics when I'm done. I'm only baking tomorrow, then I'm freezing it and decorating it next weekend. It's for next saturday.It'll be the biggest, most challenging cake I've ever made. It's 6 tiers and they're uneven, they're not stacked straight. I don't know if I've ever mentioned that I do cakes on SP. I took baking for a bit in college but never finished, it's just a hobby and I really do more cakes than anything else, though my parents love my bread too ^_^ I try not to bake sweets much except for special events and holidays and stuff cus then I'd eat it way too much lol.

I'm proud of myself today. I messed up at dinner and felt really guilty about it, but after I was so determined to make up for it. So when I went to hapkido I worked really hard. I did more than I thought I could. Running is still a huge issue for me, I just don't have the stamina, but today I lasted 5 laps around the room before having to stop and walk. We also did this crazy pushup thing. We were lined up at the wall and had to go on the floor in a pushup position and do one pushup, then while still in the the pushup position move one step over to the side, then do another pushup and move again and so on all the way across the room. Then we had to go across the room again. I didn't think I'd last even once but I was able to do it 1-1/2 times, couldn't finish but I was able to do more than I thought. I'm just glad I was able to come back strong from my screw up. I'm going to the gym in the morning to work on cardio again, so that I can do more than 5 laps soon ^_^

Hey guys, hope everyone's doing well!
I got my tests back today, the ones I was worried about. I got 70% on one and 64% on the other. I was really worried I wouldn't pass them though so I'm happy. I need to work harder next time so I can get a better mark. I hate tests.
Anyway, I know I've been doing really badly lately and I gained back almost all of the weight I'd lost. But, I think I'm getting back on track. I downloaded the SP app for my phone so I have no excuse to not track now ^_^ Today I've done pretty well so far, and I already bought my lunch from the cafeteria at school. I bought it with my breakfast, I got a veggie wrap with cream cheese. That's about as healthy as I can get in the caf.
I'm determined to improve my cardio faster. I have noticed an improvement over the last year, with my dancing and hapkido, but not enough. So, I am going to go to the gym and use the ellyptical more often. I will really get my heart rate up there too, with lots of resistance if I have to lol. After I can go crazy on the ellyptical for at least 30 minutes, I will start the C25K program, I just don't think I can handle it right now. I've been a bit lazy with my cardio so I'm really gonna step it up. I'm going to do more classes at the gym as well, I really like zumba, and it's plenty challenging for me, so I'm going to go at least once a week for zumba and once for the ellyptical or treadmill, more if I can. That should be enough with my dancing and hapkido, which I am going to try and work harder in.
The main reason I want to improve my cardio faster, is so i can at least make an attempt top keep up with the guys in hapkido, and so I can dance longer ^_^ When I set goals for fitness, it needs to not just be I want ot exercise more. I actually need something to work for, like being able to dance longer lol, and I want to eat healthy not just to lose weight, but to feel good. The weight loss and exercising is just a means to an end for me, and I find it easier to be motivated that way. It's still really difficult for me though ^_^

Ok, so here is my dancing video for our challenge. It's longer than the required 2 minutes. I hope everyone can understand, I was nervous and so I kinda messed up explaining a lot. If you find my explanation confusing you can always go on youtube and watch a lesson where they have a partner to demonstrate, which would make it easier to understand.

Ok so for today's challenge we were to create a main dish recipe under 250 calories. This was adapted from something I got out of a cookbook. I lowered the calories and made it more simple to prepare. It is vegetarian though I think it would also be good with chicken added if you wish. It wasn't under 250 calories with the chicken though ^_^ I wasn't sure if we were supposed to actually prepare it and if we are the I won't have time to today as I have to work and then I'm going out tonight. Hope you all enjoy it ^_^
Mushroom and Asparagus Pasta
* Onions, raw, 1/2 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
* Garlic, 1 clove (remove)
* Asparagus, fresh, 1 cup (remove)
* Milk, nonfat, 1/2 cup (remove)
* Parmesan Cheese, grated, 2 tbsp (remove)
* Whole Wheat Spaghetti, cooked (pasta), 4 cup (remove)
* Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
* Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 6 tbsp (remove)
- cook one cup chopped asparagus (microwave or steam)
- Saute garlic and chopped onion for 2 minutes.
- add mushrooms, saute until most of liquid evaporates.
- mix egg substitute, milk and parmesan cheese in a small bowl
- add asparagus and onions and mushrooms to pasta
- pour milk mixture over pasta
- serve immediately, makes 4 servings
