Ok, so I'm a bit disappointed with my progress these past couple weeks. So today, I went out and bought myself some new workout pants, my old ones were gettin kinda big and worn out, and I also bought DDR for my Wii. I wasn't sure if I should because I have one for my gamecube and don't use it, but I think will use this one now that I've got it ^_^ I like the balance board mode better because I feel like I'm actually dancing but it's not quite as much of a workout as the normal mode. I'm planning on buying the wii fit plus and ea active more workouts, but not until I lose some more weight. It'll be a reward for some of my loss which will also help me lose me more ^_^ Also I couldn't afford to buy them all at once. *sigh the life of a student lol. anyway I had a lot of fun with my new game today and I have a dance lesson later. I haven't been the best with my eating today but I'm proud of myself for doing all the working out. I'm also going to do an EA Active workout later today, I'm a little behind because I skipped a couple days so I need to do it everyday this week to catch up. Oh I also have hapkido tonight. Wow, I'm doing a lot today ^_^ I didn't realise how much lol.

    The max weight supported is actually 330 pounds, just checked my box to double check :)

    So a heads up about the Wii Fit Board before you buy it, the max weight is 250! I want one too, but I have a LONG way to go! Good luck! I love your attitude!

Stupid Teachers Strike!!!

I just found out the ontario colleges did vote in favor of a strike. Only 57% in favor though =( They can now call for a strike at any time. But apparently the union agreed to go back to the bargaining table if a strike was voted for. I really hope they can come to an agreement wihtout actually going on strike cus otherwise so many people are screwed, including me.

Sorry I just found out and wanted to vent a little. Night everyone.

Today went pretty well so far. One thing I'm hoping still goes well, is my teachers voting to not go strike. I think they will though =(

Anyway, I'm proud of myself for eating super healthy 2 days in a row. Healthier I ever eat ^_^ I even had lentils for the first time, I kinda liked them, in stuff though. I also had trouble 2 days in a row getting in my minimum calories, I had to go and eat something extra after cus it hadn't been enough.

I also noticed an improvement in my fitness while at hapkido tonight, I was able to do more, even with my ankle being a bit sore. It's better, though I still don't know what I did. I even came home after hapkido and did workout #3 for EA Active. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's workout because they're gonna be adding the squat jumps and lunge jumps. I have all morning off though so I can't not do it ^_^ I gotta at least try.

I may go to the gym tomorrow too, we'll see if I have time, I gotta do some laundry and cleaning and stuff, then I have school in the afternoon. I hope I keep doing well so I can see some progress soon, I'm getting a little frustrated with being stuck. I've been stuck for quite some time and I can't seem to get below 325 and stay there. I need to get there and keep going.

    I love lentils - they can be an acquired taste though. That's awesome that you incorporated them into your meal today. I'm trying to do similar things with not only lentils but beans in general. They're supposed to be a lot more filling and nutritious than plain meat.

A recipe you might want to try: Find a good lentil soup recipe. I love the soup I get from middle eastern restaurants. It's pretty easy to make if I remember correctly. And put a little lemon juice in it. The soup with a 1/2 toasted pita bread....ohhhh sooo good! :)

Wow first dancing and now hapkido? You go girl! You're gonna be kicking some major booty! Rock it! emoticon
