owww ... i really hurt today. yesterday's 4 hour hapkido test is quite painful today. even more now than this morning. at least i know i got a good workout ^_^ took today off tho and back at it tomorrow. now that i have all the right foods too ill be starting healthier eating in the morning. i didn't today because im actually at my parents for the night and didnt really wanna bring my own dinner to their house. i really hope i do well for my first week, tho to be honest the spark diet seems to be giving me an awful lot of food. i guess ill see how it goes when i weigh myself at the end of the week. anyway, im exhausted, night all.


Too Much Exercise!!!

wow, i'm really tired today. i did too much. i worked this morning, then had to rush to my martial arts grading which took 4 hours, then had to rush to a halloween party. I'm exhausted and sore, but I'm happy i was able to do almost all of the stuff for my grading. i had to do 100 jumping jacks, 100 crunches, 25 burpies, 3 patterns 4 times each, plus all the techniques. my only problems were the burpies and the front falls. and i had to leave early so i dont even know yet if i passed.

i went shopping today to get all healthy foods for my cupboards. i no longer have any unhealthy stuff in my kitchen. hopefully i can keep it that way and keep up with the exercise and lose weight. I'm fairly certain ill have a loss this week tho ^_^

Today is my first day on SP. i'm really hoping this will be the thing that helps me to achieve my weight loss and health goals. i'm a 22 yr old college student and i have some issues. weight is only one of them. im very out of shape so i started doing martial arts about 6 months ago. unfortunately, my bad diet has kept me from losing much weight. i also started ballroom dancing about 3 months ago for exercise but also because i am uncomfortable with touching, which has made personal relationships a little difficult. i have made a little progress, but not what i was hoping for. there are so many things i want to improve about myself. i don't know if anyone is ever going to read this but hopefully if they do i will soon have something here to motivate them.

    welcome to sparkpeople! i hope you have great success with your program. Remember to take things one day at a time, one choice at a time. Seems like you're already on the right track, with the martial arts and the ballroom dancing and all. There's lots of stuff you can do to get healthy that won't necessarily involve other people.
