Ok, so I'm at a stalling point. I'm watching calories and exercising 6 days a week. I make almost every food choice a good one. I eat with reason. Don't believe me check out my food log. So I have been reading some articles: Lose 10lbs. in 8 weeks, melt muffin top, etc. Ok so I am already doing everything they say to do. Still nothing is happening. It is very frustrating. I'm not giving up, but for crying out loud, give me a break. Will ya?

    I just used articles as basic guidelines but not taking them word by word. Don't want to get too frustrated when I don't get the result as suppose to be (even though I know I didn't follow all instructions, haha).

Don't give up, the journey not over yet!

    That's where I've been most of my week. Or so I thought. Give it time! I just looked in the mirror and guess what? The workout tips and stuff have FINALLY started paying off! Only about 3 weeks after starting them, but still! Hang in there sweetie! Everyone goes through this rough patch. It'll get better! I promise!!

    i've been there too!! stuck stuck stuck! I think some of us are blessed with bodies that have to "get used" to a weight range before giving it up to move on (down).. JUST my thought on it at least!
Muscle weights more than fat? feeling trimmer? but the scale doesn't move? Measurements, have you checked them lately?
Keep at it.. it will happen!

    Oh, I hear you. *HUGS* I hate muffin top. It is my biggest enemy right now! Keep it up, though....my plateau and what seemed like no change lasted from mid-October until these last couple of weeks. It seeems like it is going to never end, but it will, I promise! I cry and whine and complain about my tummy, but it has been changing and getting better by bits and pieces the last few weeks. Have you been taking your own progress pics? I do once every other week now and my waist is getting smaller. *HUGS* again!

So I had a few setbacks. I got back on birth control pills after 9 years because my cycle is crazy lol. I wanted to eat all the time, was cranky, among other things. So got the pills changed and it has helped. Then I went on a cruise and gained some more weight. So total I have gained 14lbs. I have lost 4lbs. this week so far. If I can lose at least 6 more lbs. I will be happy. With the cold weather, I can't really walk/jog in the morning. So, my cousin and I are doing workout videos 6 days a week for 50-60 minutes. They include Jackie Warner, Jillian Michaels, The firm pump, jump, & jab, & Turbojam (about to begin). I also like playing Just Dance on the WII. I'm eating 1300-1400 calories a day. I'm adding (MUFAs) to my diet. I just got a new camera. Can't wait to learn more about it so I can start shooting. Well, that's about all for my update. Hope everyone is doing well.     Since last week, I'm back on track, new program, new discipline - I hope this is not bitten by New Year Bug. What I did, I made quarterly goals - it's my best way to keep myself motivated emoticon Of course, once I got into my period, everything will be postpone for 3 days as I jumped into my other-me suit, haha.

  Glad that you're making progress!!! Now that the holidays are over, it should be at least a little easier for all of us to get back on track! YAY for you in finding an acceptable substitution for your walks in light of the temperate weather!!!! WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY!!!! With a little consistency and persistence, those 6 pounds will be gone before you know it!!!

Ok so my kids had their Halloween party last night. I looked at the pictures and oh my. My weight is creeping back! Time to get back on track again. So new plan. I have six weeks until my cruise to get back in shape. 60 minutes of exercise 6 days a week. Water and V8 are my new best friends. Back to eating the superfoods. I have my workout buddy and my husband and kids to stay on top of me. Hopefully, they don't let me get away with too much hahaha.

Long overdue update!

Sorry I have been away. If I stay on here too long, I become way too obsessed lol. I went back to living life outside of SparkPeople. I gained a few pounds back. I have 1 or 2 more to lose to be back to my comfort weight. I'm thinking I might try to lose a few more. Kinda like starting over or a fresh start. So much has happened lately.
Let's see April was my 10 year anniversary. My husband took me on a surprise trip. I got my new ring in a hidden gazebo in an asian garden. It was soooo romantic. I turned 31 =) It was nowhere near as bad as turning 30 lol. Ran into my daughter's biological grandmother at my birthday dinner. Long story short, my daughter met her and has spoken with (the "sperm donor"). He hasn't called or emailed in a week. I kinda wish he wouldn't call at all. He isn't worth our time, but for my daughter's sake I have to put on a happy face and hope it works out for the best. On the bright side, my daughter and her REAL dad, the one who raised her, have become closer. I am going to be posing in a calendar for a local bike store that sells leather biker's clothes. Looking forward to that. I'm going on my first cruise in December. More reason to get on track and lose a few pounds lol. And just got back tonight from Painting with a twist. Picture below. That is about it in a nutshell. Hope to see you guys around.

Computer issues and new dvd workout

Okay so my computer is on the fritz. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't lol. It's cramping my style. Okay so I bought two workout dvd's today. I am totally loving the short workouts because you can mix and match and it works for people with busy lifestyles. Anyways, back on the subject, I bought Denise Austin's 3 week boot camp. It has two 20 minute workouts and a 6 minute abs work out. So in 26 minutes today I was drenched in a sweat bath emoticon I couldn't believe it! Wow! Definitely a keeper. The second dvd I haven't tried yet. It is from Shape magazine. Shape Get Lean in 4 Weeks. Looks promising though with three 20 min. workouts and 15 min. abs workout. Oh and I went to www.fitinyourskin.com and signed up for free and received a free 30 min. workout dvd with Jackie Warner in the mail the other day. Not bad for a free dvd.
