Here I am trying to relieve myself of pain. Had PT today for a ruptured rotator cuff. this is no joke. I was doing find until the PT, but I see it has given me a better range of motion and hope I can keep it going. These exercises are fierce when you haven't used your arm in over two weeks.
I'm really annoyed as I can not exercise the way I want to due to the tear. Who would have thought that I would get sidelined again after having foot surgery. Thank God I didn't give up. I purchased the Total Body Sculpting DVD and cannot do it now per my doctor. I cannot go against his medical advice. I am walking more but haven't gotten up to 10,000 steps a day. I have reached 9,789. Climbed 15 sets of steps in one day.
My 13 week 13 pound challenge has gone kaput also as I celebrated at the president's inauguration and then my birthday. Well I managed to come down this week by .8 of a pound since my last weigh-in but know it should be more. What do you do when you don't know what to do?
Thanks Spark People for the opportunity to vent and air my gripes. I'm beating myself up while continuing to endue this struggle. Help is needed from anyone and everyone. I have read many of the interesting blogs of how people have been successful, what made them turn to SP and why they stayed. I am staying as this is the first program I truly can see results.
I have curtailed the late night eating and even get at least 7.5 to 10 hours sleep a night. This is truly a miracle. Thank you SP, I never week to bed before 1:00 or 2:00 am and was up no later than 7:00 am. How can you lose weight with that schedule?
Well, I'll go for now and continue this journey with my goal of being determined. I will not let this beat me.
