I just started a new job at my old place of business. I'd forgotten just how much "food" was available there. Yesterday at staff there were Krispy Kremes & scones & brownies. Then all day there were other boxes of donuts out on a table I had to pass all day long. To fight off the urge during staff meeting, I ate 1/4 cup of oatmeal squares before - it kept me from feeling famished. Then everytime I had to pass the donuts, I ate a grape just before. That helped there. By 4:00 I almost succommed, but I gave myself a pep talk and made it without any donuts all the way to the end of the day! It may sound like nothing, but to me it was a big deal.
