Well, I went to the doctor for my annual physical yesterday, and got good news and bad news. The good news, I am down to 216 pounds, so I've lost 9 pounds in two weeks since I last weighed myself. Woohoo! I have been carefully watching what I eat and walking every day during my lunch hour so I'm sure this helped. The bad news, I have been diagnosed with PCOS, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. She is putting me on Metformin for it and also a birth control to try to help regulate some. So far the Metformin is makng me feel pretty crappy. I was up most the night last night sick. We will see if it keeps it up, if so I may end up seeing if there is a different medicine I can take for it. She is also putting me on the Suzanne Somers diet so we will see how that goes. Reading some stuff about PCOS, it seems pretty scary and overwhelming to me right now. Especially when it comes to pregnancy and child birth stuff. I am hoping by that point I will have lost enough wait to potentially take care of it myself without Metformin so I stand a better chance but we will see. All kind of overwhelming right now so lots of prayers needed!

I know it's been a while since I've blogged but I've been through such a transformation lately I just simply haven't had the time.

Most of you have been following my blogs for a while and know about my breakup last year and how much it effected my weight loss journey. About a week ago, I had finally had enough of the Devil and everything bad pulling on me so before I went to bed, I got down on my hands and knees and surrendered everything and rededicated myself to God. I was tired of living as a halfway Christian and tired of only doing things part of the way for Him. The next morning I woke up and was completely relieved and felt at peace and ready to conquer the world.

Later that day, I received an e-mail from EHarmony that someone was interested in me. I really wasn't ready to get back into the swing of things yet in the dating world but figured I'd take a chance and take a peak at his profile. It ended up being a young Pastor in my town that Pastor's a church not far from where I live. I took the chance and sent him a message and we talked back and forth for a while, and had a lunch date after church this past Sunday.

I am not sure if things will go anywhere, but so far he is really sweet and amazing and I am really looking forward to seeing where God takes this. I truly feel that it was God's intention for me to meet him, but in order to do so, I had to surrender myself to Him again and get right with Him.

I am so hopeful and thankful right now and ready to conquer and win the rest of my weight loss journey!

Today is a slow day at work so thought I'd go ahead and post my daily blog. So far my food choices today have been pretty good. Though I did start out with a cup of coffee this morning to help me wake up. Chose a pot pie for lunch today, rather than the typical fast food lunch so at least that was a good thing. I woke up this morning to my cheeks being blood red and burning really bad though. Not sure what is up with that. I went by the store and bought some hypo-allergenic lotion to keep them moist so hopefully that will help. Got a really busy weekend this weekend so may not have time to write but will blog again on Monday. My nephew is being dedicated at church on Sunday! Woohoo! Have a great and blessed weekend everyone.

Oops, been over three months since I have been on Spark People. So much has changed and been going through alot of hardships but i am finally ready to get back into the swing of things and get this weight off of me for good!

I joined the Relay for Life Committee this year so my first goal is to lose 25 pounds, which will put me under the 200 mark, by Relay on May 15th. I am doing more short-term goals rather than long-term right now as I feel it will benefit me better in the long run.

Can't wait to get started again and help motivate everyone!

Not blogged in a while so figured it was time I post one! I am feeling pretty amazing today and had a really great day. Managed to stay within my calorie goal. Only ate 1,548 calories. Even managed to not go over on my carbs, fat, or protein! I also came up with the idea to watch Biggest Loser while running on my elliptical, instead of sitting on the couch like I normally would. I took a break during commercials but still managed to burn 156 calories and I am stoked! Tomorrow I am going to my first water aerobics class. Am excited but nervous! Will post again tomorrow with an update on the class!

God bless!
