Well cut my legs off and call me shorty! I finally dropped a little weight. It's been hanging on there for a couple of weeks, I was thinking that was it as far as the weight loss was going. Guess my bod was just figuring out what to do (well at least that's my story). Some of my friends have also lost weight and to them I send congrats and hugs, it feels sooooo good to be actually doing something for ourselves that counts.

Hope you all enjoy the funny I found on one of my web searches and as they say "see you in the funny pages"!!

I have only lost 1/2 a pound this week, but for some strange reason my measurements are changing. I have lost 2 cm off my hips and waist. I haven't done anything different, so I have come to the conclusion that I must turf out my old scales and get a new set. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!)
Anyway the weather here is just ridiculous the last few days have been chilly and today is hot, how am I supposed to work out what to eat when the weather can't make up it's mind.
Have a chuckle on me with my weekly cartoon (I hope I don't upset some copyright, these are cartoons that I collected years ago and stuck in a book for days that I needed a laugh)

Nothing on the weight loss this week, don't know why but have been feeling a bit tired this week and can't seen to get out of my own way. I am hoping to gain a little extra energy next week.

I've decided to add a cartoon (to go with my silly sense of humour) to my blog in future just to lighten things up. Life's too short not to laugh at least once a day.

Hi all, no weight loss this week, but oddly I have lost 2 cm off my waist and nearly 2cm off my hips. I have no idea how this happened, but will not complain, unless these centimetres are depositing themselves in some other area.

I have been busy adding recipes to my cookbooks, mainly to make it easier when I want to add things to my menu plan.

I hope someone out there will at least try a couple of them, everyone likes them at home, either that or they are not game to tell me if it tastes like crap. Crap or not they clean the plate so I wont complain.

I hope everyone is doing great on their SparkPlan and the pounds are sliding off.

Well I'm coming up to the 3rd week and things are looking up.
I have dropped 3kg (@7lb) and around 2cm off my waist.
I don't feel like I'm missing out on food in actual fact everybody at home wants the same thing I am having!
I like the idea of sitting down at the end of the day and figuring out what I'm having the next day. I seem to be in control of what I am doing, not just grabbing the first thing I see.
The proof is in the pudding and hopefully the weight will continue to slip off despite my bung ankle at the moment.
