I'm really good at encouraging others. I need to work on keeping myself motivated to work toward my goals instead of getting lazy and giving up for long periods of time.

E is for EXCUSE...too tired, not enough time, don't let me make excuses!

G is for GROCERIES...try to get LOTS of healthy foods!

I is for INSPIRE...who or what is your roll model/inspiration?
J is for JOB...SAHM and homeschool mom
K is for KEEP IT SIMPLE.. get some cardio in.
L is for LOG...I have the app on my tablet and phone so I can log my food and exercise
M is for MOTIVATION...scale is more motivating for me usually becuase I can see it faster.
N is for NAME...fir_4_family: I want to be fit for my family but it also means that I want a fit family. My last name is pronounced like the #4.
O is for OUNCES...goal is 64+
P is for PRODUCE...working on this starting this week. but usually not near the 4-5

R is for ROUTINE...Don't have much of a routine but want to get to 3x cardio and 2x ST a week S is for STATUS...married 7.5 years
T is for TIME...eastern
U is for UNWIND...crafts, reading, spending time with my family.
W is for WEIGHT WORKOUT...No but want to get2 one in place
X is for "X" MARKS THE SPOT...Get routines in place and stick to them. I need to makethis a lifestyle, not just a once in a while thing.
Y is for YESTERDAY...Allow them to push me forward! Dwelling won't help but suing it to change WILL
Z is for family both immediate and church family

    I think it is amazing that you homeschool. I could never do it. My cousin homeschooled all 8 of her children and now possibly some of her grandchildren.

Another reason to kick bad habits

So, went to the dentist today... first time in too long. Got some not such good news but future issues can be prevented if I make some changes.

1. Snacking, even if it's healthy can cause decay because it causes acid in your mouth.
2. Chewing gum, even sugar free kind makes your body think you're eating so it doesn't help matters as far as health of your body or mouth.
3. Drink MORE WATER ALL DAY! Drinking water all day long helps your body in so many different ways!

Anyway, I have some tings to work on, some bad habits to quit and good ones to begin.

5k in june?

So I posted on my rangers thread but keep thinking about this. I was online bored since everyone was asleep and saw that in June there is a 5k in my town! It's 1 week after my bday. I thought that would be cool! But then my old self doubt kicks in and I start questioning myself as to whether or not I can really do it or not.I'd love to have someone run with me to keep me going.

Can I/should I sign up for it? Why do these thoughts come in to my mind? emoticon

    There's plenty of time to train for a 5k in June, whether you're walking or walk/running it. emoticon

    I saw you started a C25K program so it would make sense to run an official 5K! It provides a sense of accomplishment that you won't get just by getting through C25K. Not to mention it will provide you motivation to finish the program. I recently finished C25K and ran in a race. It was great. Good luck.

    Hey thank for reading my blog! You should absolutely sign up for the 5K. My DIL agreed to do one with me next week, but I had already decided I would do it alone if necessary... If we can jog around our house we can do the real thing too!

C2 5K

SO, I started the C2 5K program last week and today I'm on week 2 day 2. I'm actually enjoying it although it is a challenge for me. I never was a runner at all. I tried running with my sister a few times and didn't make it very far! I wondered why on earth anyone would WANT to run! LOL

I don't have a treadmill but have used one a few times nad loved it! SO, I kept seeing people talk about the C2 5K program so I looked into it for myself one night after watching the BL. I got annoyed with myself for not exercising and did day 1 right in my lviing room.

I've yet to make it outside to run. With dh's work schedule and taking care of 3 kids it's hard to find that time BUT I have been using my wii fit free run and it works! Today we're going to my dad's house so I really want to get out and run in his neighborhoood! I know I can do it! I'd love to run an actual 5k some day! emoticon emoticon

IMNENA~YEP anyone can do it. It's only 30 min. start out with 5min walk then it's alternating 1min jog an 1.5min walk for 20min and then a 5min cool down walk. That's the 1st week then it progresses each week. '

    C25K is what got me started! I was never a runner until I started (when i quit smoking) and now I can't stop! I'm running my 1st half marathon in august! Best wishes and enjoy!

    I' have been a walker having increased my walks to 7 miles 3 or 4 times a week and keep thinking I should run. Have tried it but don't like to run! LOL! I must check out the C25K! Can a 61 year old run it?

    Glad to see you back again! Let me tell ya, I started the C25K at age 53 and ran my first 5k at week 7 of the program, if I can do it SO CAN YOU!! Keep at it, it will happen!
