August Goals

Today is July 25, almost the beginning of a new month. I want to set my goals now so that I can try to meet them by the end of the month ( August).


August GOALS:

Goal 1: Lose 1-2 pounds per week Current 160.1

Goal 2: Make healthy choices and maintain portion control every day track food.

Goal 3: Drink 8+ cups of water every day

Goal 4: Eat at least 5 fruits/veggies per day

Goal 5: Achieve 1,000 fitness minutes during the month

Goal 6: Do strength training 3 days each week





ONGOING GOALS --

1. Meeting each 10% weight loss goal (next stop: 144)

2. Every 1,000 fitness minutes achieved

3. Meeting all monthly goals


Okay, I've got my eye on the finish line now. I am focused and determined to succeed.

well I am very glad that is it daylight saving time I was having a really hard time every morning making it out of bed. emoticon emoticon

I have been canning to my hearts content this weekend I bought a case ( 30 Pounds) of canning cucumber and after 8 hours I am just finishing up. ( pick will be posted soon)

As most of you might not know I love to do crafts and I have found one perfect for this season. Making beanies out of sweaters. My mother in law gave me a bag of sweaters and the ones that are not my style i will make into beanies. I have already made some and my kids loved them,

As for my fitness journey. I have fallen off the fitness wagon. and then been run over a few times. Well I am back on my feet and I have on my job list for today to make a fitness calendar. I love the one that spark has so maybe I will just print it-- depends how much ink is left in my printer. emoticon

Oh and the best news of all I got my hair cut I was tiring to save it till I lost some more weight but I needed a pick me up and I am glad I did I Love it. ( will post Pick)

    Where is a fitness calendar? ... I have been making my own. I can send you a spreadsheet if you keep track of steps.

Today I voted for me.
* My health
*My Life
*my Family
*ME
I am worth the time and the energy to become healthy and fit. I have spent too much time putting my energy into things ie: tv, food, stuff and these things have not helped me to become the woman I want to be.

I know and I worth it

All votes are in( all the ones that count)

And the winner is me..

I will make time during the day for me.
I will make time to plan my meals, and track them on sparkpeople
I will set time aside for me to exercise.

I will put me first so that I can be the best for all the ones I love in my life.

Not obese

So I just got out of the obese range............bye bye ..... I am not going back.






so last night I had to tell my husband that I was so big that i could not fit in my own pants so I had taken some of his to wear. I was totally ashamed and I never want to have another moment like that in my life.

I have also been avoiding my friends because I have such low self esteem that I just can not be involved in the social side of life. I am so glad that I am working to get myself back to MYSELF.

Weekend

Yesterday ( not really the weekend) I had the best day with my kids. Early in the day I took my kids to a paved path near our house I have been wanting to walk it for quite some time the section that we walked ended up being 1.5 miles. then I took them to the park were they played and I walked for till they were ready to go home.


We also got to go to a local pumpkin patch and go on a hay ride then pick the pumpkins and then ride home it was just so much fun to see what kind they chose and why because they could see a pumpkin face already on these pumpkins.

then I went to my friends house to pick up some things she has been saving for me arts and craft stuff for my kids and my day care kids. my kids and I went thought these two huge boxes and were laughing and just having so much fun deciding what we could do with all this STUFF.

I also went to the DI ( utah thrift store) my son picked out 2 halloween costumes and my daughter of only 11 picked out these high heal boots with fur at the top. Oh she is growing up so fast.

to finish off the day we watched the new karate kid movie.

I Love my life and I love my family they are such a great blessing to me.

    aww kids grow so fast don't they? can't believe you have an 11 year old, you don't look it! My daughter will be 7 next month & my son 5 :)
